Maybe it just makes sense, but Bentley Beverly Hills has established itself as one of the foremost stockists of pastel-colored Bentley motor cars. We’ve highlighted them before on this site, and this particular purple Continental GT S fits snugly within that mold.
The color is Beluga over Lilac Frost, a pastel purple unlike anything you’re likely to see on a modern car. Although, in the home town of Paris Hilton and her own pink Bentley, it’s not hard to get why this purple GT S would make a compelling case.

Since the Audi showroom operated by Scherer Sport is in Germany and not in the USA, we’re not running this as a market find. Nevertheless, this Frankfurt-area Audi dealer appears to have a showroom full of new RS 6 Avants that is worth paying attention to as posted on their Facebook Page.
At the front of that lineup, quite literally, is this example in Oak Green Pearl Effect (oakgrünperleffekt; metallic uni; Q82; Audi). Not to be confused with Porsche’s Oak Green Metallic that we’ve also seen painted on Audi exclusive commissions, the Audi take on Oak Green tends to be a little less dark and a little more gold.
Scherer doesn’t confirm interior details on this car, though it appears to be a tailored Audi exclusive specification on the inside. It’s primarily black, though features accents including bolster panels in Cognac. This is a guess though, so those particularly interested in the interior specification should reach out to Scherer directly HERE.
What: 1988 Porsche 959 Sport Color: Porsche Grand Prix White(grandprixweiß; non-metallic Uni; 908 / P5 / 9A5; Porsche) VIN: WP0ZZZ95ZJS905016 Mileage: 3,757 miles Price Estimate: $5,500,000 – $6,500,000 CarFax: N/A Window Sticker: N/A Location: Coral Gables, FL Link: RM Sotheby’s
Rare car. Rare spec. Not tailored.
Besides silver, a white 959 isn’t especially rare. Yes, this still a Porsche 959 road car built for Group B homologation we’re talking about, so it’d be worthy in these pages anyway. However, we give it extra points for having rare specification within that space.
The color is Grand Prix White, so in the lexicon of Porsche paint colors that’s G-body vanilla. In fact, Grand Prix White and Guards Red were the only colors made available on the 959 Sport.
Notably, we love the look of the incredible 959 center lock Cup-looking magnesium 5-spokes also color-matched to Grand Prix White. The latter is why we call it “white on white” in the title, a styling cue that is oh-so-quintessentially 80s and arguably consistent with the Porsche’s 1983 Gruppe B prototype concept car. So, while vanilla, it’s still a great look.
Also, this is a 959 Sport, is a whole lot more rare than the 959 Komfort. Of the 292 production 959s constructed, only 29 of them were built to Sport specification. Differences for the Sport included full leather-wrapped roll cage with four-point racing harnesses and cloth upholstery. As weight savings measures, the Sport also saw the deletion the Komfort’s adaptive suspension that was replaced with conventional coilovers. Air conditioning and stereo were also deleted. All told, these deletions shaved some 220 lbs. off the weight of the Komfort.
A detail worth calling out is the car’s seats. In this pre-964 era, Porsche wasn’t yet fitting Recaro Pole Position shell seats from the factory as they would in the Carrera RS and many, many more. Thus, the 959 Sport uses Porsche’s familiar folding bucket in big bolster configuration. Where it differs is pass-throughs for racing harnesses. It’s also got unique Sport-specification fabric seating surfaces stitched with the same unique gradient striping one would see in a 959 Komfort’s leather seats.
The car you see here is the 16th 959 Sport built. Briefly sold directly to an American associated with a privateer Porsche racing team, the car’s first owner quickly sold it off once he learned he’d have no luck importing the car to America. Even still, he didn’t do it before renting out a track for a day and having some fun with it.
The car would spend most of the rest of its life thus far in Switzerland, before going to Italy in 2015 then America after that.
Two characteristic design variants: Sport and Style
Each limited to 46 cars

[source: BMW AG]
The #46 is now 46 – and BMW M has the perfect present to mark the birthday of nine-time motorcycle world champion and current BMW M works driver Valentino Rossi (ITA): the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 (fuel consumption combined: 10.2 l/100 km [27.7 mpg imp]; CO2 emissions combined: 232 g/km in the WLTP cycle, CO2 class: G)*. This exclusive edition, produced at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, is available in two distinctive design variants: Sport and Style. “The Doctor” himself was personally involved in the design process for the two versions, both of which will be built in a limited run of 46 cars. The world-famous number, which is Rossi’s trademark, features prominently in several places on and inside the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 – for example, on the doors and the roof, which is made of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP).
Purchasing a BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 also comes with a once-in-a-lifetime experience comprising an exclusive, personal meeting with Valentino Rossi at his home – the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia (ITA) – and a BMW M Driving Experience at the Misano race circuit (ITA).
“There is no other brand that has motorsport so deeply rooted in its DNA as BMW M. I am proud to be a BMW M works driver, and to share this passion. The fact that there is now a special VR46 edition, in which I was involved from the very beginning of the design process, makes me proud. When I see the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 out on the road or on the race track later, it will be very cool,” says Valentino Rossi about the edition and the collaboration with BMW M.
Exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes and special exterior and interior details One way in which the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 differs from the BMW M4 CS (fuel consumption combined: 10.2 l/100 km [27.7 mpg imp]; CO2 emissions combined: 232 g/km in the WLTP cycle, CO2 class: G)* is its two exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes, which blend perfectly with the many exposed carbon surfaces, such as the indents in the bonnet. Other distinctive features include a host of exclusive exterior and interior details. The overall colour concept of the two design versions is inspired by Valentino Rossi’s preferred tones and expressive visual style. For example, the “Sport” has a finish in Marina Bay Blue metallic, while both sides of the car display an outsized “46” in the darker Tanzanite Blue metallic. In the “Style” design variant, the bodywork comes in matt Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic, with the “46” this time in Frozen Marina Bay Blue metallic on both sides. In a nod to Rossi’s favoured colour scheme, the BMW M kidney grille outline and one of the V spokes in the forged M light-alloy wheels – which, as on racing cars, indicates the position of the tyre valve – are painted in bright yellow, as are the brake callipers with M logo and an accent strip over the door frames of the “Sport” variant. The carbon-fibre roof – like the sides of the car, painted by hand – is adorned with a large VR46 logo (also in yellow, of course) and Rossi’s signature. The tailgate features VR46 lettering.
The yellow accents continue in the interior of the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46, which is predominantly Night Blue. The M Carbon bucket seats come with Merino leather upholstery in the Black/Night Blue colour combination. The Sao Paulo Yellow of the Alcantara shoulder area creates an exclusive contrast. The head restraints, like the door sill trims, feature a prominent yellow VR46 logo. Furthermore, the M Alcantara steering wheel with three-spoke design and flat-bottomed rim comes with yellow contrast stitching and a yellow centre marker. On the carbon-fibre centre console of all examples of the Edition VR46 is a badge stating “1/46”, identifying each Sport or Style car as one of the limited run.
Six-cylinder in-line engine with 405 kW/550 hp The beating heart of the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is a high-revving 3.0-litre, six‑cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology. This power unit has had track performance as its raison d’être from day one of its development. The increase in the maximum charge pressure of the two mono-scroll turbochargers to 2.1 bar and model-specific tweaks to the engine management mean the edition model’s engine now generates 405 kW/550 hp, which is relayed to the road via an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, the M xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system and the Active M Differential. Lightning-fast power development and optimised traction enable the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.1 seconds. When applying the “1-foot rollout” method**, the figures read 3.1 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h and 10.8 seconds for 0 to 200 km/h. Acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h takes 2.6 seconds in fourth gear and 3.3 seconds in fifth. The top speed of the edition model, which comes with the M Driver’s Package as standard, is electronically limited to 302 km/h.
Contributing to the excellent engine response is a model-specific engine mounting with increased spring rates. The rigid connection between the power unit and the vehicle’s structure enables particularly direct transmission of its power to the drivetrain every time the driver presses the accelerator. The oil supply system – like the cooling system – is designed to handle the specific challenges of track use, including consistently high revs and extreme lateral acceleration. The engine’s power delivery is accompanied by the emotionally stirring soundtrack generated by the dual-branch exhaust system, which features electrically controlled flaps, a titanium rear silencer with weight-minimising design and – in customary M fashion – two pairs of tailpipes painted in matt black.
Model-specific tuning for chassis technology and control systems The chassis technology for the new BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 has been tuned precisely to the performance characteristics of the engine, the overall vehicle concept and its weight distribution. The individually tuned axle kinematics and bespoke wheel camber settings, dampers, auxiliary springs and anti-roll bars serve to optimise steering precision, transmission of lateral control forces when cornering, spring and damping response, and wheel location. The electronically controlled dampers of the adaptive M suspension likewise come in a model-specific set-up, as do the electromechanical M Servotronic steering with variable ratio, and the integrated braking system.
46 – the trademark of an exceptional racer The number 46 has accompanied Valentino Rossi throughout his extraordinary career as a motorcycle racer and racing driver, and has become even more of a trademark than his nickname “The Doctor” or “Il Dottore”. Having seen his father Graziano Rossi race motorcycles with number 46, Valentino also opted for 46 from the start of his career – and never even swapped it for number 1 when he became world champion, as would have been his right.
Valentino Rossi claimed his first world title in the 125cc class in 1997. Two years later, he added the title in the 250cc class. In 2000, he took the step up to what was the top Grand Prix category, the 500cc class, in which he was crowned world champion in 2001. The following year, this category was replaced by the MotoGP class, and Rossi remained the dominant force. By 2005 he had added a further four world titles, and numbers eight and nine were to follow in 2008 and 2009. With these nine world championships and no fewer than 115 Grand Prix victories to his name, he is one of the three most successful motorcycle racers in history and a global motor sport and style icon. VR46 has become a worldwide trademark – and Rossi’s home town of Tavullia has even reduced its speed limit from the usual 50 km/h to 46 km/h in his honour.
BMW M works driver since the start of 2023 When the curtain fell on his motorcycle career at the finale to the 2021 season, Valentino Rossi turned his attention solely to car racing, having already attended multiple tests in Formula 1 race cars and made guest appearances in rallies and endurance races. Since the start of the 2023 season, he has been a BMW M works driver, plying his trade at the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3 for BMW M Team WRT in series including the GT World Challenge Europe and the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) – which includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans (FRA). At the start of February 2025, he finished runner-up in a BMW M4 GT3 at the Bathurst 12 Hour (AUS), the opening round of this season’s Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC).
Exclusive meeting with Valentino Rossi in Italy An exclusive bonus that comes with purchasing a BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is the opportunity to enjoy a very special two-day experience in Italy. Day one features a visit to the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia, including a barbecue and a chance to talk shop with Valentino Rossi himself. On day two, you will head to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for a special BMW M Driving Experience with the latest BMW M models. Rossi, at the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3, won GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup races at his home circuit in both 2023 and 2024.

Lavish specification includes many Mulliner options as standard
Crewe, England – The new Atelier Edition for Bentayga offers a beguiling combination of limited-edition exclusivity, contemporary design and cosseting luxury. Complementing a thoughtfully curated package of exterior and interior features, the Atelier Edition is offered in six distinctive colour combinations. These include five Mulliner Legacy colours and feature exterior detailing finishes that are unique to this model. The new Atelier Edition is available for the Bentayga V8 and Hybrid, as well as the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB).
The five legacy exterior colours, Light Onyx, Rubino, Porcelain, Quartzite and Light Emerald and are joined by a new additional colour, Obsidian Crystal to form the six curated colour combinations. Rubino stunned the crowds at Frankfurt Motor Show with the launch of the third generation Continental GT, Porcelain provided a beautiful exterior colour to compliment the introduction of the Mulliner range for Continental, and Quartzite emphasised the performance look of the S range for all models.
Alternatively, customers have the entire range of Bentley finishes to select from should they prefer. Completing the package are sought-after options such as mood lighting, Bentley Dynamic Ride (where available), Harmony Diamond upholstery quilting – Bentley’s most comfort-focused quilting option – and the five-seat Comfort Specification.
Six curated colour combinations
While customers may choose any exterior colour from the full paint range, the Atelier Edition’s designers have curated six recommended colour specifications, combining exterior finishes with a two-colour interior where the secondary hide colour is matched by piano finishes on centre stack and veneer carriers.
For the first colour combination, Light Onyx, a warm grey Mulliner legacy finish, is matched to an interior where the main hide is Linen and the secondary hide is Imperial Blue. The recommended finish for fascia and waistrails is diamond brushed aluminium.
The second colour combination features a new finish specially created for the Bentayga Atelier Edition. Dramatic Obsidian Crystal is complemented by a secondary hide of Beluga with a main hide of Saddle, while fascia and waistrails are Open Pore Dark-stained Walnut.
Colour combination three offers another Mulliner legacy finish, Light Emerald, paired with an interior of Cumbrian Green and Portland. The diamond brushed aluminium on the fascia and waistrails is a subtle echo of the Hallmark Satin finish that appears on the exterior.
The fourth combination takes the deep red of Rubino exterior finish and pairs it with a Cricketball secondary hide colour in the interior. Cricketball contrast stitching and veneer carriers stand out beautifully against the understated Gravity Grey main hide upholstery and the brushed aluminium finish on fascia and waistrails.
Owners living in warmer, sunnier climates may be drawn to the lighter tone of Porcelain exterior finish. This Mulliner legacy shade is matched with an interior where the main hide is Portland and the secondary hide Burnt Oak. A fascia and waistrails in Open Pore Koa maintain the mood of contemporary luxury while the finish for the centre stack, picnic tables (if applicable) and console is executed in Piano Burnt Oak.
The sixth and final recommended colour combination takes Quartzite, an elegant grey, and pairs it with a two-colour interior of Linen and Gravity Grey. Fascia and waistrails in Piano Linen are framed by veneer carriers in Gravity Grey.
Exterior: subtle distinction in Hallmark Satin
The exterior of the Bentayga Atelier Edition strikes a note of assured elegance thanks to its combination of subtle details. These include a vertical vane chrome grille behind which is a second, matrix grille in Hallmark Satin. Hallmark Satin finish can also be found on the front and rear bumper valances, while the 22” ten-spoke alloy wheels feature a bright machined finish in satin with painted pockets in Tungsten Satin. The wing vent with the Atelier Edition features Tungsten Satin as a background finish.
Interior: clean, elegant luxury aesthetic
On opening the doors, the driver and passengers are greeted by an animated welcome light sequence that is unique to the Atelier Edition. On entry, they step over Atelier Edition treadplates with the inscription ‘Hand Crafted in Crewe, England’. Visual and tactile delights include Harmony Diamond quilting with a single, elongated diamond picked out in contrast stitching matched to the secondary hide colour. The same contrast colour features as piping on the headrests and painted veneer carriers. Small Atelier Edition brand tags on the headrests provide a finishing touch.
A comprehensive specification
Customers may feel little need to scan the options catalogue as many of the most sought-after Mulliner options are included as standard. Features include self-levelling wheel badges, the iconic ‘jewel’ filler cap, mood lighting, Bentley Diamond Illumination and the five-seat Comfort Specification. Owners of the V8 models, whether the standard wheelbase Bentayga V8 or the Bentayga EWB, will also enjoy Bentley Dynamic Ride with all-wheel steer.
Each of the Atelier Edition Bentayga’s produced, will showcase the painstaking craftsmanship, contemporary luxury and effortless performance, offered by this latest model.
What: 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon Color:Designo Brilliant Blue Magno(designobriliantblaumagno; metallic matte; 644; Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR) VIN: W1KZH8KB5MA905031 Mileage: 25,000 miles High Bid as of this Writing: $75,000 with 3 Days Left CarFax: after link Window Sticker: N/A Location: Washington, DC Link: Cars & Bids
If you’re a fan of fast wagons, then the S213-generation Mercedes-AMG E 63 S needs no introduction. Now, pair in special paint like Designo Brilliant Blue Magno and you have both something very special and something enjoyably tailored.
For added flair, this car’s yellow contrast stitching moves it even further into tailored territory.
In a lot of ways, the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon you see here may represent the trifecta – at least by your measure.
For starters, though notably more expensive than most other SUVs on the market, the block-shaped G-wagon from Mercedes-Benz represents all things geometrically good about the 1980s yet underpins that with modern tech.
Next up, so-called “Monoblock” alloys have been associated with AMG since long before Mercedes-Benz even purchased the fabled Mercedes tuner and reconfigured it to be the brand’s in-house performance sub-brand. The look is consistently a wide and heavy-faced rim with five relatively short spokes around the outer perimeter. Monoblocks reappeared on the G-wagon a few years ago and rich history helps bestow them with a “just right” sort of feeling. Add in black finish on a black optics car for extra points.
Now, about that paint. Should you click over to the G 63 configurator (found HERE), you’ll find twelve standard colors on the G 63 and 25 more pre-approved MANUFAKTUR special colors. Among them is China Blue, a light non-metallic pastel blue that dates back to the 70s and, we’d argue, looks timeless on a timeless design like the G-wagon.
Also worth noting, the interior on this G is Macchiato Beige Leather with Black Leather accents.
So, in our opinion, this particular G being listed by a private party in South Carolina is the trifecta. If you agree, check it out via the Facebook marketplace link above.
MODENA, Italy – The Maserati GranCabrio range is the leading light at The I.C.E. St Moritz where, on Friday, February 21, 2025, the GranCabrio was presented in its new 483-HP version. Already available on the GranTurismo that completes the range, this engine combines the performance and comfort characteristic of the coupé version with the option of driving in the open air. Also unveiled was the one-of-a-kind GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – THE I.C.E., designed as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie Customization Program.
GranCabrio, Maserati’s luxury cabriolet, also with an output of 483 HP The spirit of the open-air “Italian grand tourer” and the performance typical of the Modena brand are the leading lights in an extremely comprehensive offering, the broadest ever proposed for the Maserati convertible. It is now available both with the TWIN TURBO combustion engine in the 483 HP version, the 542 HP Trofeo version, and with the 100% electric Folgore powertrain.
At The I.C.E, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the most famous frozen lake in the Engadin region of Switzerland, the GranCabrio on display features the Verde Giada body color, with black brake callipers, and 20” (front) and 21” (rear) wheels with Crio (Imola) diamond-cut gloss black design. The interior is in an ice-coloured perforated full-grain leather, with the Maserati Trident logo embroidered on the headrest. The specifications of the model on display – featuring the Sonus faber high premium sound system with 19 speakers – is complemented by 3D carbon-fiber finishes and adaptive full LED headlights with a dark finish.
This version of the GranCabrio is a style icon and the perfect interpreter of the purest performance thanks to refined details such as the retractable soft top, to enjoy the best open-air experience, space for four true seats with the comfort required even for long journeys, whereas the 483 HP 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo enables the car to reach 186 mph, with acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in just four seconds.
As with the Trofeo, the 483 hp version also comes with all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard and air suspension, to ensure the utmost performance without sacrificing comfort in full “granturismo” spirit, even in the open air.
Maserati always focuses every decision-making process on the customer and the entire GranCabrio range is only one example of this: to fulfil the wishes of the most discerning, the color palette has been revamped and extended with a particular elegance, as with hues like Verde Giada.
To satisfy more sporty customers, orders will open in March with the Trident’s official dealer network for the new Sports Exhaust, providing the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo range with purer and more adrenaline-fuelled sounds, to emphasize some of the brand’s iconic features: the unmistakable Maserati sound and racing DNA.

Maserati has “broken the ice” by shining the spotlight on its range, in the spirit of “Italian grand touring” and the Trident’s performance.
GranTurismo and GranCabrio, with all-wheel drive as standard in all versions, are the protagonists on snowy roads and in driving activities on ice, combining performance and uncompromising driving pleasure even in the most difficult conditions.
Grecale has invaded the streets of St. Moritz, whereas the MCXtrema and the new Maserati GT2 Stradale are on display to showcase the brand’s racing and competitive DNA.
Finally, when it comes to vintage cars, a Maserati 6CM and a Maserati 200 SI are taking part in the International Concours of Elegance.
Maserati S.p.A. Maserati produces a complete range of unique cars, immediately recognizable for their extraordinary personality. Thanks to their style, technology, and innately exclusive character, they delight the most discerning, demanding tastes and have always been a benchmark for the global automotive industry. A tradition of successful cars, each of them redefining what makes an Italian sports car in terms of design, performance, comfort, elegance, and safety, currently available in more than 70 markets internationally.
Maserati line-up includes the Grecale, the “everyday exceptional” SUV, the GranTurismo, the iconic Italian grand tourer, and the GranCabrio, the new convertible of the Trident; all models characterized by the use of the highest quality materials and excellent technical solutions. A range equipped with 4-cylinder hybrid powertrains – available for Grecale – and V6 petrol, with rear-wheel and four-wheel drive, embodying the performance DNA of the Trident brand. The top of the range is made up of the MC20 super sports car and the MC20 Cielo spyder, powered by the ground-breaking 100% Maserati Nettuno V6 engine, which incorporates F1-derived technologies into the power unit of a standard production car for the first time. The GranTurismo is available with both the high-performance V6 petrol engine, derived from the Nettuno, and a 100% electric version: the GranTurismo Folgore, the first car in the Modena-based brand’s history to adopt this solution. The full-electric range also currently includes the Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s first 100% electric SUV, and the GranCabrio Folgore. Finally, the House of the Trident’s latest addition is the Maserati GT2 Stradale, the road-legal version of the GT2 that took Maserati back to the track in closed-wheel championships. The heart of the new super sports car is the V6 Nettuno engine, reaching 640 hp (471 kW) in the latter configuration. The GT2 Stradale is therefore the most powerful road-going Maserati with an internal combustion engine.
The mission at Maserati is to write the future of mobility in the luxury segment, focusing on its customers’ requests. The Brand, in line with the Stellantis “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan, is now taking Italian luxury all over the world.

From the discount tailored rack comes this well preserved and rare specification BMW 525i Touring we found listed over on Cars and Bids. Whether or not you count it as truly tailored is up to you. The exterior color of Slate Green was a standard offering on the E39. And, though we haven’t yet found it in period catalogues, the interior specification of Stone Green and Black doesn’t appear to be listed as special order on the attached Monroney window sticker.
So, it’s a rare spec then and not a tailored ride. Even still, it’s a rare specification that includes tone-on-tone coloring with green on the outside and green on the inside. That all makes it very tasteful.
Alas, it does have an automatic transmission so the true obscure wagon nerds who are seeking gears they can row may find that part a disappointment, but close inspection of the attached photos over on Cars and Bids also shows very detailed record keeping for this car’s nearly 200,000 miles logged, not to mention well-preserved condition in the many photos.

Audi exclusive’s Kemora Grey is certainly a stunner, and Sewell’s Audi North Houston are big fans. How do we know? Well, this is the second build we’ve seen from them in Tailored Driver’s brief history, with the prior being this Audi S7. We also count ourselves among the Kemora faithful, and think it looks quite handsome in this application. As this just arrived at Audi North Houston, we’re eager for more images and an asking price.
