When a new Tailored Driver gains our attention, we find it impossible to not at least briefly try to put ourselves in the shoes of the original owner. Through that lens this RS 7 finished in Audi exclusive Vegas Yellow is an incredibly interesting proposition when you take a moment to review the CarFax. Ordered in Greenwich and seeming splitting its time between fancy Connecticut and Santa Barbara, the prior owner surely lives a life of luxury. But neither of these places exactly scream “Vegas Yellow” RS 7 to us. It’s got us wondering- was this owned by the trust funder in their Robert Graham button down causing a ruckus? Or was it simply a hedge funder with a sense of humor? Either way, this Tailored Driver presents a great opportunity in the secondhand market for someone looking to enter the fold.

Looking for an EV to match your 991-era GT3 RS in Porsche Ultra Violet? Okay, that may be an obscure ask, so we’ll put it a different way. Looking for an affordable EV daily driver with highly unique paint color? This Audi exclusive e-tron in Porsche Ultra Violet may fit the bill.

We do note what looks like a few visual modifications – nothing extreme, but something factory original fixators may want to revisit. Not the gold vertical struts on the grille and also what looks like a gold stripe along the side sill. An e-tron would have orange/gold coloring on the e-tron badge found on the quarter panels that is stock however.

Special thanks to the always resourceful braintrust that is our Audi exclusive Classifieds Group on Facebook. Thanks for the tip Anthony Vito and credit for confirming the car was originally sold through Audi Beverly Hills (because of course) Kathleen Jane.

There’s something about a unique car from a time when acquiring something tailored wasn’t just a matter of chatting up a sales guy at a dealer and wandering into a lounge where all your options are laid out readily in front of you. Yes, it’s not always that easy today, but it was much harder back in the day… say 1992, when this very unique 512 TR was manufactured.

Rare paint? Check. Rosso Winner, a deep dark cabernet of a red that doesn’t look a thing like every other red Testarossa on the planet. Now, add in tone-on-tone red leather interior for good measure and you have something particularly tasteful? Don’t like a red-on-red Ferrari? Too bad. Literally every F40 that hasn’t been re-trimmed or sold to the Sultan of Brunei is red-over-red. Alas, none are Rosso Winner over red. That’s a shame.

If you’re looking for a car that’s never been modified, this car probably isn’t for you. That said, the folks who are into Audi’s turbocharged 5-cylinder models like the TT RS are probably aware and attracted to a built car. While photos are limited, we can clearly see tuning going on under the hood and negative camber on the wheels. The listing doesn’t give details, but it states 0 miles on a freshly rebuilt engine.

This car is one of Audi’s most desirable models (TT RS) in one of Audi’s most desirable colors (Nogaro Blue). If the owner’s info is correct, it’s also one of just two Nogaro Blue TT RS delivered either to America or at least to America in 2018.

  • Market Find: “Blackwatch Commission” Singer Classic Study Says No Thanks to Woven Leather

Market Find: “Blackwatch Commission” Singer Classic Study Says No Thanks to Woven Leather

    What: 1990 Porsche 911
Color: Paint to Sample Oak Green Metallic (oakgrünmetallic; metallic uni; 265 / 22L / 60K; Porsche)
    VIN: WP0ZZZ96ZLS405318
    Mileage: delivery miles
    Price: Sealed Bid

    Window Sticker: N/A
    Location: Los Angeles, CA
    Dealer listing: Link

The Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer you see here was completed just a few months ago in January 2025 and is virtually new. Built to Singer’s Classic Study formula, the “Black Watch Commission” was built to harken classic Porsches, something you can especially see in the decision to go with tartan seats versus the typical Singer Classic treatment of woven leather.

Other spec includes titanium exhaust, Öhlins suspension, carbon fiber roof, carbon ceramic roof and more. The car is built to UK specification, but with left-hand drive. The Porsche Oak Green Metallic paint pairs well with satin nickel finished Fuchs style wheels.

Since the car is so freshly completed (and apparently never delivered), the new owner will benefit from the typical 12-month warranty Singer offers.

  • Market Find: Audi exclusive District Green SQ8

Market Find: Audi exclusive District Green SQ8

    What: 2023 Audi SQ8

Consider this of an elder sibling wearing the younger’s clothes- which admittedly doesn’t always pan out. This Tailored SQ8 is finished in Audi exclusive District Green, which is generally found on the A/S5 and Q/SQ5 models as a traditionally optioned hue. In this case, the greenish-yellow paint works incredibly well to create a distinct SQ8 without removing the grown up appeal. While not the first Green we’d have chosen for our own hypothetical SQ8, we find this to be a refreshing experiment as opposed to the more common Goodwood and Oak greens.

Some of us a are more, well, thorough than others when it comes to the Tailored Driver ethos. Paint to Sample colors are incredibly prevalent, so if you really want to set yourself apart from the others at your local Cars and Coffee (especially in the Bay Area), you have to bring it. The former owner of this Tailored Driver sure as hell got that memo, as they took their Signal Green GT3 and went nearly full Cup car by curating tasteful items from BBS Motorsport (E88 Wheels), Manthey Racing (3-way Clubsport suspension), Dundon Motorsport (D3 Engine package) and Porsche Motorsport (Fenders, Liners, Splitter) to arrive at the result seen above. For good measure, it’s also got a few OEM+ touches as well, specifically a carbon hood from a 911R, GT3 RS Side Skirts, and brake cooling ducts from the GT4 RS. If this is your idea of perfection, head to Porsche San Francisco to achieve Platinum-level Tailored Driver status.

  • Market Find: 2018 Audi exclusive RS 7 in Teak Brown

Market Find: 2018 Audi exclusive RS 7 in Teak Brown

What: 2018 Audi RS 7 Sportback
Color: Audi exclusive Teak Brown Metallic (Teakbraun; metallic UNI; Z8W; Audi)

    Mileage: 53,816

    Location: Duval Acura, Jacksonville, Fl
    Dealer listing: Link

Perhaps take from the dealer-doesn’t-know-what-they-have department is this 2018 Audi exclusive RS 7. Why do we say this? Well, for starters the description (Panther Black Crystal Effect, and Black with Mercato Blue Interior) don’t seem to match the photos. Admittedly, the photos are low resolution, so it’s a shame we can’t see the original high-res files.

We ran the VIN and the car is checking in as Teak Brown, which matches the color seen in the photos. That all makes sense. There are no Audi exclusive badges on the door panels, hinting that whatever the interior is, it was a standard offering in period. So, you have a nicely-built RS 7 in a relatively rare Audi exclusive color. Now, throw in the relatively low miles of 53,816 and the price at $58,900 that KBB rates as a “Great Price” and we’d say it’s a great buy.

  • Market Find: Is this 2007 Boxster an Early Nordic Gold?

Market Find: Is this 2007 Boxster an Early Nordic Gold?

    What: 2007 Porsche Boxster S
Color: Unconfirmed, Believed Nordic Gold (nordischgoldmetallic; metallic UNI; M2Z / 8W; Porsche)
    VIN:  WP0CB29897U731315
    Mileage: 77,910 miles
    Price: $24,900

    Window Sticker: N/A
    Location: Plaza Motors, Tempe, AZ
    Listing: Link

We’re not 100% confirmed on the color of this well-kept 987 Boxster S, but we believe it’s Nordic Gold Metallic. The period is correct, and there aren’t a lot of colors close to this in the Porsche Paint to Sample palette so we’re fairly safe in saying it. Whatever it is though, it’s handsome and tastefully paired with a close-to-tone interior.

Nordic Gold Metallic is perhaps best known for being a launch color on the Porsche 911 Targa (type 997). Even though that’s an exceptionally rare car, we’re guessing you’re more than likely to have seen one of those than you are to have seen Nordic Gold on an early Boxster S like this one.

Interestingly, it’s a Tiptronic. Because it’s an early 987 and not a later 987.5, this means it’s got the torque converter automatic rather than twin clutch DSG. Regardless, it’s an incredibly handsome cruiser.

We’ll say it over and over until we can’t any longer. We’re ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) fans of dealer salespeople who bring Audi exclusive listings to the enthusiast fore and often ahead of their dealerships. Before we get into this car, it’s worth thanking Martin Tuma at Audi Westchester for posting it to Facebook (our main link above). It’s also available on the dealer website with more photos and information HERE.

What we have is a Nogaro Blue R8 Spyder. Conventional thought would suggest that one of Audi’s most popular colors such as Nogaro Blue would be a regular spec for Audi exclusive R8 buyers – the R8 being Audi’s own supercar. Interestingly though, it’s not, making a Nogaro Blue R8 a decidedly rare thing.

It’s also got the optional (and equally rare) Recaro shell seats, making it an exceptional specification. It’s new, quite low mileage and quite well maintained, which all combines to make it something worth considering.
