Mercedes-Benz delights G-Class enthusiasts with the new highly exclusive G-Class Edition STRONGER THAN THE 1980s. With a compelling blend of historic colors, exclusive design elements and equipment details from the legendary 280 GE, it captures the magic of the off-road legend’s origins. The special model pays tribute to the first G-Class model series (W 460), which first captured people’s hearts in the 1980s with its unique combination of on- and off-road capability and laid the foundation for the unrivaled success and cult status of the iconic “Geländewagen.” Strictly limited to 460 units globally, the G-Class Edition STRONGER THAN THE 1980s arrives at select U.S. dealerships later in 2025.

    Historic colors and design elements

The limited G-Class Edition STRONGER THAN THE 1980s fuses the modern technology and comfort of a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 550 with the charm and aesthetics of a heritage model. Customers can choose between three nostalgic paint finishes, which were among the first paint options for the G-Class.

    • MANUFAKTUR Agave Green: The earthy green radiates robustness and closeness to nature and emphasizes the outstanding off-road capability of the G-Class.
    • MANUFAKTUR Cream: The classic and timeless color exudes a touch of elegance and sophistication and was a popular choice among customers who primarily used the G-Class for city driving.
    • MANUFAKTUR Colorado Beige: The warm, sandy hue conveys a sense of adventure and freedom and emphasizes the versatile character of the G-Class.

Prominent amber indicator lights above each headlight also provide a vintage touch. To round off the vintage styling, the complete front fascia, radiator grille, brush guard, underguard, front and rear bumpers, side sills, flared wheel arches and exterior mirror housings are finished in MANUFAKTUR Night Black Magno, echoing the rugged look of the first G-Class. Classic 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels in silver provide a striking contrast.

The Mercedes star on the hood employs the design of the historic emblem, featuring the Mercedes-Benz laurel wreath and lettering on a blue background. The tailgate door also features a unique design element paying tribute to the 1980s – the silver brand badge featuring black “Mercedes-Benz” lettering – and an edition-specific spare wheel cover.

Select equipment details from the PROFESSIONAL Line Exterior contribute to the powerful off-road appearance, including PROFESSIONAL mud flaps and all-terrain tires. Vehicles finished in MANUFAKTUR Agave Green are also fitted with the PROFESSIONAL roof rack.

The MANUFAKTUR Logo Package in black, which features black door handles with an embossed “G” logo, further exemplifies the attention to detail. A projection below the exterior mirrors welcomes the driver and front passenger with “G – STRONGER THAN TIME” illuminated alongside the vehicle.

Dove Grey fabric seat inserts and 1980s-style “Schöckl Proved” badge

The interior of the G-Class Edition STRONGER THAN THE 1980s also highlights unique elements in homage to the early days of the off-road icon. The seat inserts of the black leather seats are upholstered with Dove Grey fabric that was highly popular at the time. “STRONGER THAN THE 1980s” branding is incorporated into the front passenger grab handle. The front door sill panels feature the topography of Schöckl mountain near Graz, showcasing the test track where the G-Class has proven its exceptional off-road capabilities since 1979. The traditional “Schöckl Proved” badge at the base of the B-pillar is designed in a classic 1980s style, displaying a heritage G-Class model in the respective vehicle color. A “1 of 460” badge adorns the center console of each vehicle, which underscores the exclusivity of this special model.

America’s oldest permanent road course will be reimagined to include:

    • A world-class motorsport facility, open to the public, incorporating complete renovation of all racing tracks, pit and paddock facilities.
    • A luxury private members’ club hosted by Singer.
    • A technology hub for race teams and manufacturer development and testing.
    • An enthusiast zone with car storage, fully equipped servicing and restoration facilities, including a museum and retail.
    • A venue for automotive gatherings celebrating California’s influence on global car culture.

ROSAMOND, CA – The future is bright for America’s oldest permanent road course. Willow Springs International Raceway, which was listed for sale last summer by long-time owners the Huth family, has been purchased by an affiliate of CrossHarbor Capital Partners in collaboration with Singer Vehicle Design.

CrossHarbor, an alternative investment management firm with an extensive portfolio of commercial real estate and resort residential development, recently closed escrow on the property. The purchase ensures a successful road ahead for the Kern County raceway, as CrossHarbor and its partners focus on preserving the facility’s rich history while making significant investments to establish it as the premier venue for automotive enthusiasts.

“We are thrilled to begin a new chapter with such a beloved facility,” said Sam Byrne, co-founder of CrossHarbor Capital Partners. “We are committed to serving the community for decades to come and creating a space where all members of the car community can collectively share their enthusiasm for Willow Springs and motorsports. Along with Singer, we are collaborating with recognized and respected names within the auto industry and are excited to partner with them in pursuit of this definitive California experience.”

    A Motorsports Destination for Everyone
The new ownership group sees public access as a key aspect of Willow Springs’ success, and the raceway will continue to host both public and private events.  Existing tracks, including all three road courses, will remain open to the public and undergo enhancements to improve safety.  A variety of track layouts, including karting, ATV courses and driver instruction, will continue to be available to a broad range of interests.

    Singer at Willow Springs
In addition to being an owner, Singer will partner with CrossHarbor to create its first private member’s club. Membership will be open to Singer’s clients as well as other like-minded enthusiasts and will enable drivers to bring their vehicles for track days and related experiences. With its proximity to one of the largest luxury and sports car markets in the world, Willow Springs promises to redefine what it means to belong to an automotive enthusiast community.

Singer’s Chief Strategy Officer, Mazen Fawaz, commented: “Willow Springs is an important part of California’s motorsport heritage for enthusiasts, and everyone with an automotive obsession. Singer has two decades of track days, racing, and development at Willow’s circuits.  We are delighted to help make sure that it’s in safe hands and can be an even more impressive part of California’s car culture for the next seventy years. Its custodianship is a responsibility we are not taking lightly, and our partners could not be better suited to see it through.”

    Experts and Enthusiasts
CrossHarbor has already begun an in-depth evaluation of the raceway’s extensive facilities and will initially focus on track and safety improvements, including adding more asphalt and curbs and enhancing run-off areas with leveling and gravel. Future plans include maintaining Willow Springs’ history while upgrading its facilities, improving food and beverage offerings, and refining the track and driving experience.

CrossHarbor and Singer do not intend to ever sell Willow Springs and have brought together a group of passionate motorsport enthusiasts to join as co-owners in the facility, all with a long-term, multigenerational goal of preservation and improvement. A number of recognized consultants have been enlisted to support and plan future improvements, including:

    • Former Formula 1 driver, Le Mans winner and track designer Alex Wurz, head of Wurz Design, who will enhance existing track design and safety.
    • Renowned for its leadership in motorsports entertainment and venue management, Speedway Motorsports’ subsidiary Sonoma Raceway, bringing years of expertise in delivering premier on-track experiences, will oversee track operations to help create a world class motorsports facility.
    • Hart Howerton, a world-recognized master planner, will create off-track elements to enhance Willow Springs’ customer and member experience.

Information about upcoming improvements, events and raceway news will be shared as they become available. For more information about Willow Springs, visit willowspringsraceway.com.

Equipped with a 3.4-liter twin-turbo flat six with a RUF six-speed manual transmission producing 469 horsepower and capable of a 213-mph top speed, it was the fastest production car at the time. This is truly an exceptional example of RUF’s record-breaking supercar made world-famous at the Nürburgring by test driver Stefan Roser. The CTR Yellowbird is estimated to bring $4,500,000 to $5,500,000 later this month.

Alexander WeaverSenior Car Specialist and VP of Private Sales for Broad Arrow states, “The Ruf CTR represents the pinnacle of all rear-engine supercars and is the ultimate design evolution of the model. These low-production examples are without question one of the most sought-after supercars of our time and continue to gain ground in both their value as well as collectability, especially against their contemporary competitors.”

Weaver goes on to say, “The upcoming Air|Water auction is comprised of a terrific offering of Porsche models and in addition to the RUF, cars like the 1990 911 Reimagined by Singer, 1966 Carrera 6 and Turbo 3.6 X88 bring together highlights from all eras and facets of the brand. The auction, coupled with the already sold-out Saturday show, will be a highlight on the Porsche calendar for 2025, and we look forward to welcoming clients from around the world for what will surely be an exciting and unrepeatable weekend.”

Additional highlights for the Porsche Air|Water auction feature a series of sought-after Porsche performance and racing icons. The group includes:

    • 1966 Porsche 906 (Estimate: $1,600,000 – $1,900,000), chassis no. 906-140, an excellent example of the streamlined, prototype sports racer that captured an overall victory at the 1966 Targa Florio and signaled the dawn of a new golden age of endurance racing. This particular car is offered in largely unrestored condition, retaining numerous as-built details. It is fitted with a replacement magnesium-case Type 910 flat-six and its original serialized racing gearbox. It is finished in blue livery as campaigned by sports car dealer and racing driver Monte Shelton in the late 1960s.
    • 1990 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer (Estimate: $1,050,000 – $1,250,000), chassis no. WP0AB2961LS451139, known as the “Central Florida” commission. This exceptionally specified 911 is finished in Singer Racing White—a color that pays tribute to some of Porsche’s earliest models—and is well-equipped to offer vastly improved performance. It is powered by the 4.0-liter Ed Pink-built air-cooled flat-six engine and boasts an Öhlins 2-Way sport adjustable suspension, and premium Brembo brakes with carbon ceramic rotors. Well-optioned with multiple Special Wishes items, it is the perfect harmony of mechanical excellence and timeless design and has covered less than 2,300 miles since Reimagining.
    • 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 X88 (Estimate: $530,000 – $560,000), chassis no. WP0ZZZ96ZRS470400, one of the most desirable of the so-called Porsche Works Performance “package cars”. This car is one of only 64 examples of the X88 Works Performance Package produced for the 1994 911 Turbo 3.6. It features an enhanced M64/50 air-cooled flat-six producing 385 horsepower and the rare X92 front lip spoiler typically reserved for the exclusive Turbo S X88. Finished in striking Paint-to-Sample non-metallic “Ferrari Yellow” over a Black leather interior, it is offered with only 52,848 km recorded at cataloging and following a recent extensive engine and suspension service.
    • 2012 RUF Rt 12 S (Estimate: $600,000 – $700,000), chassis no. The Rt 12 was produced in exceptionally limited numbers, with each car custom-built to its owner’s specifications. Given its rare configuration, well-documented service history, and recent maintenance by R-Strada, this final model year Rt 12 S stands as one of the most coveted RUF automobiles available, especially considering its factory-fitted R-specification 730 horsepower engine and 200+ mph performance.

  • Lamborghini and Ducati Collaborate

    Lamborghini and Ducati Collaborate

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Borgo Panigale, 7th April 2025 – The partnership between two undisputed symbols of Italian industry, Lamborghini and Ducati, has always been fertile ground for the creation of unique projects capable of quickening the pulse of motorbike enthusiasts and collectors all over the world, thanks to the shared racing DNA of the two manufacturers.

With a history rich in successes, this collaboration now embarks on an exciting new chapter. The latest extraordinary expression of this synergy will be unveiled during the Milano Design Week, on April 9th.

The previous collaborations between Ducati and Lamborghini have shown how the pursuit of shared values – such as the authenticity of ‘Made in Italy’, a vocation for sporting brilliance and pioneering design – can spawn truly original projects.

The first example was the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and presented on 25 November 2020 in a limited edition of 630 models. This was a motorbike that reinterpreted the stylistic hallmarks of one of the brand’s most iconic cars.

Developed based on the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, the Lamborghini version was transformed in terms of its most distinctive elements. The predilection for fine lightweight materials, a characteristic trait of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-manufactured super sports cars, and shared by Ducati, was translated into wide use of carbon fiber for numerous components of the bike to further elevate its performance. The design of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was born from the creative synergy between the Ducati Centro Stile and the Lamborghini Centro Stile, combining the stylistic authenticity of both marques.

The success of this first project laid solid foundations for an equally exciting second chapter: the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the uncompromising power and extreme engineering of the Lamborghini Huracán STO.

Presented at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix in September 2022, this model further strengthened the bond between the two brands, conveying the style and performance of a genuine Lamborghini super sports car to a motorcycle. This limited and numbered edition was also a remarkable success, with 630 units and an additional 63 exclusive units dedicated to Lamborghini customers in a clear acknowledgment of the authenticity and originality of the project.

Now, excitement is growing around the third chapter of this amazing partnership. Ducati and Lamborghini are ready to celebrate their union, built on extreme performance, cutting-edge engineering and a shared performance DNA, during the prestigious Milano Design Week on 9 April.

    • Interior features include Black Edition embroidered upholstery and treadplates, Piano Black trim and contrast stitching
    • Production limited to 400 models worldwide

    [source: Bentley]

Crewe, England Bentley’s new Black Edition models combine the dark, daring and assertive visual impact of the Blackline specification with a 680 PS powertrain and chassis combination oriented towards high performance. Unique exterior features include new gloss black ‘Winged B’ badges front and rear, Mandarin brake callipers and Black Edition badging, combining to reveal the darker side of the Continental GT and Flying Spur families. Production at Bentley’s Dream Factory will be limited to 400 examples total, worldwide.

Black Edition models combine the new High Performance Hybrid powertrain with the Bentley Performance Active Chassis; the latter feature was previously only available for Speed models. The powertrain, which unites a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a powerful E-motor, delivers a combined 680 PS and 930 Nm, for performance that betters the previous-generation GT Speed.

    Design highlights

The new Black Edition models feature Bentley’s Blackline specification, creating a subtle, sleek, stealthy visual impression. Individual features include gloss black matrix grille and bumper grilles, Beluga black front splitter, and gloss black brightware. Uniquely, Black Edition models also carry gloss black ‘Winged B’ badges and Bentley lettering along with Black Edition badges on the front fenders. The 22” ten-spoke alloy wheels are finished in gloss black, though a duo-tone black and bright machined finish is offered as an option. Striking a brilliant note of contrast, Mandarin orange brake callipers are a no-cost option on all three models.

Black Edition Continental GT and GTCs feature the Harmony single headlamp design (and welcome animation) that recently made its debut on the core and Azure models.

Interiors feature the Black Edition namestyle embroidered on the front seat headrests of the Continental models and all four headrests for the Flying Spur. Also included are Piano Black veneer trim, Black Edition treadplates and contrast stitching in a colour of the owner’s choice. Comfort seats, mood lighting, the Bentley Rotating Display, sports pedals and the Mood Lighting specification are all part of the extensive specification.

    Powertrain and chassis

All Black Edition models are powered by Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid, which unites a 520 PS 4.0l V8 engine with a 190 PS E-Motor. They combine to develop a peak output of 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h sprint takes just 3.7 seconds for the Continental GT, while the Continental GT Convertible and Flying Spur post 3.9 seconds for the same benchmark. All models have the capability to travel 50 miles / 80 km in electric-only driving. Also included in the Black Edition specification is the Sports Exhaust, which intensifies the charismatic snarl of Bentley’s 4.0-litre V8 engine at full throttle.

The Bentley Performance Active Chassis technology of the new Black Edition models has until now only been offered with the 782 PS Speed models. This allows drivers to enjoy an even greater range of dynamic capabilities, from Comfort and Bentley modes to a performance-focused Sport mode. In Sport mode, Bentley Performance Active Chassis can send up to 100 per cent of the power to the rear wheels, providing natural, intuitive and agile driving dynamics. Sport mode also effects a marked difference in rear wheel steering calibration together with firmer damping and anti-roll bar calibrations.  This gives the driver a feeling of more direct steering and greater agility for a deeper sense of connection with the car.

    • Chassis development conducted in-house, with outdated leaf springs replaced with proven, adjustable Nitron suspension and limited-slip differential added
    • Subtle exterior design tweaks include LEDs with Frontline logo, Frontline badging – a first for the brand – plus removal of side lights

    • The Frontline MGA Factory Edition will make its global debut at the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting (12-13 April) on Frontline’s stand (51 and 52)
    • Available as a roadster, coupé and in left- or right-hand drive for UK and global export

    [source: Frontline Cars]

Abingdon, England –  Marking 70 years since the debut of MG’s most aerodynamically advanced model, the MGA Factory Edition is Frontline Cars’ (Frontline) lightest and most refined restomod yet. It stays true to the spirit of the original while delivering a modern, exhilarating driving experience, and will make its global debut at the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting (12-13 April).

Weighing just 815 kg (dry), each MGA Factory Edition is powered by a choice of naturally aspirated Duratec engines: a 2.0-litre unit producing 225 bhp or an optional 2.5-litre variant delivering 290 bhp. Each engine features individual throttle bodies, a modern ECU, stainless exhaust and precision-tuned camshafts, resulting in a responsive, linear power delivery that feels alive in every gear. Retaining the involving driving experience, Frontline equips each Factory Edition with its famed five-speed manual gearbox.

Extending its knowledge and expertise to the MGA, the new Factory Edition’s chassis has been developed entirely in-house. In turn, the MGA comes with a limited-slip differential with uprated shafts and bearings, and a five-link rear suspension co-developed with long-time partner Nitron. Fine-tuned geometry and front telescopic dampers enhance agility, while uprated brakes – featuring four-piston front and two-piston rear callipers – provide exceptional stopping power. The classic fly-off handbrake, a nod to the original, has been seamlessly integrated with modern braking technology. Adjustable electronic power steering adds everyday usability without compromising feel, too.

While the modern drivetrain and engineering features are at the heart, the MGA Factory Edition is faithful in appearance while featuring subtle, contemporary enhancements that distinguish it from its Fifties predecessor. Thoughtful exterior touches include crystal-clear LED headlights, which eliminate the traditional sidelights for a cleaner, more modern front fascia. Each lamp is etched with a bespoke Frontline logo, serving as a discreet signature of its bespoke, handcrafted origin. There’s also a Frontline badge on the bonnet, a first for the brand in its 30+-year history, to identify the MGA.

“The MGA always had more to give,” said Tim Fenna, Founder and Chief Engineer at Frontline Cars. “We wanted to keep its iconic shape and character while transforming the driving experience. This is a car that looks and feels like a classic but drives like something far more advanced. It’s light, fast, and incredibly rewarding – but still, unmistakably, an MGA.”

“For us, building a car is about starting with building that connection with our customers directly,” continued Tim Fenna, Founder and Chief Engineer of Frontline Cars. “We work one-on-one with each build, fitting our customers into their car like a tailor fits a suit – the beauty of it being that it can be completely bespoke to what the customer wants from a car. That’s why the MGA Factory Edition is so special – it’s not a museum piece. It’s a car you’ll want to drive – and reach for the keys in every scenario, rain or shine.”

Available in both roadster and coupé form, every Frontline MGA Factory Edition is built from a fully restored body, ensuring each car is finished to the highest standard. Using its customer configuration room, which is at the heart of Frontline’s Abingdon-based HQ (or remote meetings can be arranged), which sits alongside the in-house trim shop, customers are invited to customise every aspect of their dream MGA. The possibilities in paint hues, finish and interior materials are endless, creating an experience akin to selecting a hand-made suit in Savile Row, or reserved for the most premium of automotive ateliers.

Following its Goodwood Members’ Meeting debut (you can see Frontline during the event, on stand 51 and 52), the MGA Factory Edition will enter full production at Frontline’s Oxfordshire headquarters. Optimised for the company’s growing international audience, particularly in the USA and Australia – two regions where the original MGA was most celebrated – both right- and left-hand drive builds are now available to order, with global customers invited to already start commissioning their bespoke examples. First customer deliveries are expected from Summer 2026.

    About Frontline Cars:
Founded in 1991 initially under the name of Frontline Developments, which was rebranded as Frontline Cars (Frontline) in 2023, Frontline was established with a single mission: to elevate the foundations and driving experience of classic MG cars. Now past its 30th year, and wholly focused on bespoke, hand-made car builds, Frontline has firmly established itself as a marque specialist, uncompromising in its dedication to preserving the past while utilising the best in modern-day technology. With a passion for precision and renowned for its meticulous attention to detail, each Frontline car celebrates originality and heritage in abundance, while never losing sight of the purity of automotive interaction these cars were meant to emote in the first place.

A nod to the importance of the MGA:
Originally launched in 1955, the MGA marked a dramatic departure for MG, with smooth, flowing bodywork, a lower stance, and a purer driving experience. It was the last model developed under company founder Cecil Kimber and quickly became one of Britain’s most successful sports car exports. Of the more than 100,000 MGAs built between 1955 and 1962, over 80 per cent were sold abroad – particularly in the USA and Australia, where the car gained a devoted following. However, despite its beauty and charm, the original MGA always had untapped potential, limited by the technology of its era.

    @PTSRS Presents Colors of Air|Water

As the space for tailored vehicles continues to grow, we’re always happy to see celebrations of and gatherings for special factory built cars. Of course the Porsche community is a leader in this, and we have news today of some majorly influential parties in that space creating a tailored party of their own.

    Who are those players?

Will Lee (a.k.a. @PTSRS on Instagram) has been cataloguing Paint to Sample and Sonderwunsch specification cars for years, and collaborated in the past on events like 000 Magazine’s Rare Shades event during Monterey Car Week, or holds his own cars and coffee gatherings in New York’s trendy meatpacking district. Even for those who haven’t attended one of these gatherings though, @PTSRS’ wake of meticulous coverage of special Porsche cars is hard to miss.

Then there’s Air | Water. Initially a second day to the long-running Luftgekühlt car show series, Air|Water was set up as a way to inject some wasser into that magical yet luft-only formula. Luft’s events, managed by Jeff Zwart and Patrick Long, have set the bar for events of this nature, highly curated and often in amazing backdrops. With Air | Water, now owners of newer Porsche models can also get in on the fun.

These two are now coming together in order to celebrate the specials with Colors of Air|Water, a show within a show. Here’s what Will shared on Facebook (embedded above).

“I am very thrilled to announce that I will be partnering with Jeff @zwart to curate “Colors of Air|Water”, a brand new exhibit at @air__water taking place on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 in Orange County, California. This is truly a dream come true.

“Colors of Air|Water will celebrate a wide spectrum of legendary Porsche colors that have graced both classic air-cooled and modern water-cooled generations of Porsches. Colors that have graced *both*, not either old or new, is the key here.

Through carefully curated pairings of the same colors on air- and water-cooled Porsches, Colors of Air|Water is a literal interpretation of the namesake goal of Air|Water to celebrate both old and new eras of Porsche.

“For example, visitors will be able to see and experience the historic Porsche color Tangerine (also called Blood Orange) on both an air-cooled Porsche from the ‘60s and a modern water-cooled Porsche from nearly 60 years later—the latter made possible by the Paint to Sample (PTS) Plus program.

With such pairings, visitors will see first-hand how the “same” color can appear either similar or remarkably different between classic and modern applications due to differences in shape and substance over time.

And we are not done yet. Colors of Air|Water will feature a second curation elsewhere. This second exhibit celebrates my favorite modern Porsche GT cars in Paint to Sample colors. Think the number 4.0 and letters R, S, and T—in the true, original spirit of @ptsrs.

In collaboration with @bramoapp, we also want to tell the stories behind each and every car at Colors of Air|Water. There is more than meets the eye with every car. Stay tuned for this soon.

Air|Water will take place at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, California on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 from 9am to 3pm. Colors of Air|Water will be curated at the Plaza Pacifica Lobby by the Pacific Amphitheater within the Fair Grounds. Tickets for @air__water are now live at www.air-water.com.

Grateful to @plmotorsport, @zwart, and the @air__water team for this dream opportunity. I hope to see many of you there.

    • Rolls-Royce Manchester unveils new luxurious showroom after extensive redesign and redevelopment
    • The elegant and luxurious new showroom marks the next step in the story of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the city of Manchester, which has a significant historical connection to the marque
    • New visual language resonates with younger demographic of clients
    • Contemporary redesign reflects increasing demand for the marque’s pinnacle products

“After extensive redevelopment, I am delighted to unveil the newly refurbished Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester. The northern metropolis has long been an important place for Rolls-Royce: on 4th May 1904, Charles Rolls and Henry Royce first met in the Midland Hotel, in central Manchester, and it was from this meeting that the marque’s two founding fathers laid the foundations for what would become a brand synonymous with creating ‘the best car in the world’. The new showroom, with its wealth of innovative digital technologies and elegant, luxurious design, marks an important step for the marque and our clients. The space is the perfect embodiment of the marque, an ideal space for our highly experienced team to welcome clients, media, and friends of the brand, and brings our visual identity to life.”
Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe, and Central Asia, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

“We are thrilled to unveil our new, state-of-the-art showroom in Manchester, an extensive redesign that perfectly reflects the luxury and craftsmanship of Rolls-Royce. As we celebrate 30 years of partnership with the marque, we’re proud to mark this milestone with a facility that matches the unparalleled excellence of the brand. Located in Wilmslow, Cheshire, this new space offers our clients an elevated experience, blending heritage with cutting-edge technology and showcases Rolls-Royce craftmanship. Our long-standing relationship with the team at Rolls-Royce Goodwood has always been strong, and this exciting new chapter further cements our shared commitment to providing the finest service and motor car experience. We’re looking forward to welcoming clients to this exceptional facility, and to continuing our journey with Rolls-Royce as we look to the future.”
Jon Crossley, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester

The city of Manchester is a pivotal part of the Rolls-Royce success story. It was here, in 1904, that Henry Royce and The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls first met and forged an agreement that Rolls would sell all the cars Royce could make, under the name ‘Rolls-Royce’.

Today, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester’s redesigned showroom continues that legacy, offering clients a serene and luxurious environment where they can immerse themselves in the brand and collaborate with a highly experienced team of professionals to create their dream commission.

Located in a prominent position in the leafy suburbs of Manchester, the space showcases the marque’s pinnacle products and provides clients with an unparalleled experience, in line with Rolls-Royce’s continuing evolution as a true global luxury goods brand.

The space offers clients an immersive experience from the moment they step foot into the showroom: the door is modelled on Rolls-Royce’s famous Pantheon grille and provides a discreet, tantalising glimpse of what lies within. The doorway is topped by the marque’s iconic figurine, the Spirit of Ecstasy.

Inside, the new showroom seamlessly blends sophistication, contemporary luxury, and creative expression – while staying true to the marque’s rich heritage. Honouring the shared vision of Henry Royce and Charles Rolls, the space features carefully curated references to the brand’s founding fathers, ensuring their pioneering spirit continues to inspire every commission.

The Cabinet of Curiosities, an eclectic mix of intriguing, timeless and iconic objects, is curated to inspire creativity and spark meaningful conversations as part of the commissioning process. The pièce de résistancethe Atelier, houses some of the marque’s most exquisite examples of craftsmanship, including wood veneers, leathers, embroidery threads in a variety of vivacious hues, as well as lambswool samples. The surface-finish samples are presented in the familiar Rolls-Royce speedform shape, making it easy to imagine the almost endless two-tone colour combinations; the leathers are rolled on wands with handles from Rolls-Royce’s famous umbrellas, while the veneers are shaped like the cross-section of an aerofoil, recalling Charles Rolls’ aviation exploits. This sensory-inspired room helps clients to envisage their dream commission coming to life.

The redesigned Manchester showroom stands as a testament to the dealership’s unwavering commitment to excellence. Over the years, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester has embarked on an extraordinary journey, marked by prestigious accolades and groundbreaking achievements. In 2024, the dealership was honoured with the ‘Global Provenance Dealer of the Year’ award, and in 2023, its highly skilled team collaborated with the marque’s designers to create the ‘Manchester Ghost’ – an exclusive, one-of-one Bespoke commission that beautifully celebrated the city’s rich legacy and heritage.

Rolls-Royce is unapologetically luxurious, instantly recognisable, and synonymous with beauty, elegance, and timeless design. In the newly redesigned Manchester showroom, each motor car is given the stage it deserves, meticulously framed and presented in a way that reflects its unique personality and character, ensuring that the spirit of Rolls-Royce is felt in every detail.

  • Real World Photos of Audi RS 4 edition 25 Years from Scherer Sport

Real World Photos of Audi RS 4 edition 25 Years from Scherer Sport

German Audi dealer Scherer Sport is known for a number of things, and one of our favorites is their willingness to order factory tailored cars and then share them on their social media. In this case, they’ve got a couple of Audi RS 4 edition 25 Years examples with real world photos that reveal some of the excellent details of this limited edition specification of a Europe-only Audi.

For those who don’t know of Scherer Sport and their activities, it’s worth noting that they’re by no means lightweights. They’ve fielded DTM teams. They’re a dealer for ABT Sportsline, concocting some of their own special edition takes on ABT formulas. They were even the key partner build the maing of the ABT X-GT, a street-going equivalent of the Audi R8 GT2.

Audi themselves dropped full PR materials on the RS 4 edition 25 years when it first came out. We ran that HERE. In addition to Imola Yellow seen in the press materials, Audi also confirmed Nardo Grey and Mythos Black versions would be made available. It seems that’s what Scherer’s got here.

Of course, if you’re in Germany then it’s worth noting the cars are available. If you’re stuck stateside like us, these cars are not yet eligible for import and won’t be until they’re 25 years old. Nevertheless, they’re still fun to look at while considering the capabilities of Audi exclusive.

    Check them out HERE.
