HERNDON, VA – The RS 7 exclusive edition joins the Audi Sport portfolio featuring tailored design cues and standout performance. Limited to 23 units, the RS 7 exclusive edition is characterized by refined design elements on both the exterior and interior while maintaining the visceral performance capabilities of any Audi Sport product.

    Exclusive performance
Powering the RS 7 exclusive edition is the Audi 4.0-liter TFSI® bi-turbo V8 engine delivering 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque that sprints from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The standard Sport exhaust elevates the visceral symphony of the V8 engine by amplifying the sound quotient and heightens an element of performance oriented design with black-finished exhaust tips. The special edition RS 7 can reach an electronically controlled top track speed of 190 mph thanks to the addition of 439mm (17.3”) Audi front and 371mm (14.6”) Audi rear Ceramic brakes with blue painted calipers.

    An exclusive exterior
The most powerful expression of the Audi Sportback showcases a striking silhouette style equipped with a distinctive collection of Audi exclusive components. The exterior is painted in the exclusive Mamba Black pearl effect that presents as a sophisticated bold black paint with undertones of blue.

An exterior Carbon optic package reinforces the exclusive model’s pinnacle performance position and extends to a Black optic exterior including Black Audi rings and badges, Carbon exterior mirrors, front spoiler, and rear diffuser elements. Shod with 22” 5 V-spoke gloss anthracite wheels wrapped in 285/30 ZR22 summer performance tires, the exclusive edition evokes aggressive performance cues. Standard Audi laser lights supplement the LED high beam headlights for the driver by projecting a low and wide beam of light on the road ahead and can be identified by a blue light signature in the headlight housing.

    An exclusive interior
The distinctly refined interior of the 23 exclusive edition units includes RS brand accents and bespoke Audi exclusive details. Black leather and dinamica treatments are complemented by Sepang blue stitching woven throughout the interior.

The Audi exclusive extended leather package extends the premium material to door armrests, center console trim, upper door panels, and the upper dashboard all finished in black leather with Sepang blue stitching, while Audi exclusive controls are also braided in Sepang blue stitching. Front passenger seats are treated to an Audi exclusive low side trim in black leather with Sepang blue stitching while Audi exclusive floor mats are offered with black leather edges and finished with Sepang blue stitching. Finally, a black Dinamica headliner traces the interior of the striking Sportback design of the RS 7 exclusive edition.

BMW and Kith Start Season 2 of Successful Collaboration with the BMW i4 M50.

    • Highly limited edition of the fully electric Performance BMW M vehicle with unique Kith features
    • Historic BMW 1602 from 1972 electrified and adorned with design details by Ronnie Fieg
    • Lifestyle collection available worldwide in Kith stores and online

    [source: BMW]

Munich. More than just electrically charged: the BMW i4 M50 (electricity consumption in kWh/100 km: – (NEDC) / 22.5–18.0 (WLTP); electric range (WLTP) in km: 416–520) is not just the first fully electric M automobile, but also the second BMW M vehicle that New York designer Ronnie Fieg has exclusively designed as part of the collaboration between his brand, Kith, and BMW M GmbH – inside and out. Only seven BMW i4 M50 by Kith vehicles will be produced for the public. One of those is the only vehicle within this collaboration being auctioned to a global public audience. To mark the limited edition, Kith is selling a 51-piece collection comprising apparel and accessories, inspired by the colours of the Kith Vitality Green (kithvitalitygrün; metallic; P9H; BMW) vehicle paint and BMW Individual Caramel Merino vehicle leather in its stores all over the world and online

A symbol of the transformation of BMW in the age of electric vehicles.

In BMW M’s 50th anniversary year, a historic vehicle is bridging the gap between the past and the electrified present. Ronnie Fieg as an automotive enthusiast has transformed a 1972 BMW 1602 into a contemporary electric car. This is based on the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, where two BMW 1602s, converted into electric cars, were used at various long-distance competitions as accompanying and camera cars by the organisation committee. This was the start of a pioneering, forward-looking evolution of electrified vehicles at BMW. To commemorate the debut of electrification at BMW, BMW and Kith Season 2 presents the 1972 BMW 1602 Elektro by Ronnie Fieg.

The unique 1972 BMW 1602 Elektro by Ronnie Fieg will be handed over to the designer by the BMW Group. He already owns an impressive collection of BMW vehicles, including a legendary BMW E30 M3 by Kith stemming from Season 1 of the collaboration. His passion for BMW was sparked as a boy by his grandfather; the collaboration with BMW M means this comes full circle for him. Ronnie Fieg founded his Kith label in 2011. The collaboration between the BMW and Kith brands started in 2020 with the design of a BMW M4 Competition Coupé by Ronnie Fieg. The 150 editions of the exclusive BMW M4 Competition × Kith were sold out in less than 30 minutes.

A combination of sportiness and aesthetics.

The success of the first brand collaboration with Kith led to this second edition, where electromobility is the focus. As the first fully electric M model, the BMW i4 M50 can be called the “Brand Shaper”. It has the well-regarded M DNA and as a BEV shows the responsible direction that BMW is going in. The 1972 BMW 1602 tells the story of the very first electrified BMW, which came onto the market 50 years ago and which is part of the brand’s high-performance segment. The sportiness of the lifestyle and streetwear label Kith is a perfect match for the BMW M. Ronnie Fieg gives both models a new aesthetic with his design.

    BMW goes Kith Vitality Green.

For the first time ever, BMW is naming a new colour after a brand partner: Kith Vitality Green is a rich, dark green that is not available on a serial BMW, as it is limited to this exclusive collaboration. New logos merged with each other are a hallmark of the various Kith partnerships with globally famous companies. BMW changed its brand emblem for a collaboration partner for the first time two years ago. The well-known BMW emblem was again altered this time: an additional ring in the colour Kith Vitality Green was added around the brand logo that adorns the hood of the BMW i4 M50 by Kith. The green ring lists the partnership, model and year as well as the fact that it is an electric car. The logo on the hood of the 1972 BMW 1602 by Ronnie Fieg looks different again: the BMW letters have been swapped for Kith. A similar logo in black and white with the subline “Elektro-Auto” can be found as an engraving on the lid of the cup holder in the BMW i4 M50 by Kith.

    The interior goes Caramel.

Kith Vitality Green is the colour in which all vehicles of the collaboration are painted. While the exterior is an exquisite green, the full-grain merino leather interior is in the colour Caramel. In the 1972 BMW 1602 Elektro by Ronnie Fieg, the leather of the seats is embossed with the Kith lettering, as are the leather inserts in the footwells for the driver and front passenger. The logo altered to feature the Kith lettering instead of BMW can also be found on the centre holes of the rims.

The interior of the BMW i4 M50 by Kith is also particularly harmoniously coordinated in Caramel. The knee bolster, steering column, seat and side panelling, as well as the lower part of the A and B posts are all upholstered in merino leather. The front and rear floor mats are also trimmed in caramel-coloured leather and embroidered with the M logo, which has been changed to Kith, and the M stripes. Kith lettering in a box design is embossed on the headrests as well as the front centre armrest. “KITH Exclusive Edition” has been laser-engraved into the trim.

Technology and luxury in the limited edition.

The technology has been taken over from the BMW i4 M50, which combines the innovative power of the BMW M with that of the BMW i for the first time. The BMW i4 M50 with its fully electric powertrain fed by two BMW M eDrive motors achieves a powerful 400 kW (544 hp) in Sport Boost mode and offers a dynamism typical of a BMW M in an as-yet-unseen edition, which takes it from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It is locally emission-free and has a reach of up to 520 kilometres according to WLTP. As the first purely electric Gran Coupé from BMW M, this extraordinary vehicle creates a class of its own and proves itself for everyday use too, thanks to its impressive reach, luxurious spaciousness and intelligent networking.

In addition to the standard equipment in the BMW i4 M50 and specific scope of the Kith collaboration, the model is equipped with a few special additions as standard. Alongside the adaptive M chassis, these include the M sports brakes with red brake callipers, the M aerodynamic package and the BMW Individual Shadow Line lights. The Professional and Plus driving assistants also contribute to the luxurious driving feeling, as well as the electric sliding glass roof, the fine oak wood trim and the M high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim. The features are rounded off by the Harman/Kardon surround sound audio system, which provides the perfect soundtrack to the joy and driving experience in the BMW i4 M50 by Kith.

Audi USA Celebrates Final Model Year of TT RS with Limited “Heritage Edition”

    • Audi TT RS no longer offered after the 2022 model year in the U.S.
    • Five Audi heritage colors celebrate legendary five-cylinder engine and bids farewell to pinnacle performance of a design icon in the U.S.
    • Limited number of just 50 (10 of each) color combinations available

[source: Audi of America, Color Code Information Researched and Provided by Tailored Driver]

HERNDON, VA – Today, Audi of America announces a limited offering of 50 special units of the 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition that combines the power of the emotive Audi five-cylinder engine heritage along with the storied paint colors that once adorned the Audi Ur-quattro. While still available outside of the U.S., the 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition signals the appropriate farewell to the remarkable high-performance coupe following the 2022 model year. The TT and TTS models will continue to be available in international markets and in the U.S. market.

Five heritage color combinations celebrate the legendary five-cylinder engine
For the 2022 model year, a limited number of just 50 highly collectible TT RS models will be available with the Heritage Edition nomenclature that blends five different exterior paints of the past that celebrate the heritage of the Audi Ur-quattro. The legendary Ur-quattro was powered by the storied Audi five-cylinder engine of its time with the modern version supporting the high performance Audi TT RS today. The limited TT RS Heritage Edition is available in five different color combinations, listed below in the five-cylinder firing order, and is limited to only 10 units of each.

    1. Alpine White (alpinweiß; non-metallic UNI; L90E; Audi) with Ocean Blue leather and Diamond Silver stitch
    2. Helios Blue metallic (heliosblaumetallic; metallic UNI; LA5Y; Audi) Diamond Silver leather and Ocean Blue stitch
    4. Stone Gray metallic (steingraumetallic; metallic UNI; LY7U; Audi) with Crimson Red leather and Jet Gray stitch
    5. Tizian Red metallic (tizianrotmetallic; metallic UNI; LB3V; Audi) with Havanna Brown leather and Jet Gray stitch
    3. Malachite Green metallic (malachitgrünmetallic; metallic UNI; LY6A; Audi) with Cognac Brown leather and Black stitch

The interior leather and contrast stitching combinations are leveraged from the current Audi exclusive portfolio of upholstery selections, and include several first-time color combinations for the U.S. market. To further underline the exclusivity of the limited edition model, the TT RS Heritage Edition exhibits an understated, yet distinctive etch of “HERITAGE EDITION” script followed by the firing order of the five-cylinder engine “1-2-4-5-3”, underlined by a “quattro” script in the rear quarter glass on the right side of each car.

Additionally, the TT RS Heritage Edition presents an exclusive list of standard equipment:

    • 20” 5-arm cutter design wheels in bi-color anthracite finish
    • Audi exclusive etching in rear quarter glass
    • 174 mph top speed limiter
    • Alcantara covered steering wheel with 12 o’clock marker in leather color
    • Alcantara covered shift lever
    • Alu-optic exterior elements including mirror housings
    • OLED taillights
    • RS logo floor mats with contrast stitching
    • Sport exhaust with black tips
    • Electric spoiler / rear wing delete

Hear that heritage sound? It’s legendary performance.
The five-cylinder engine has deep historical roots in Audi’s DNA, and is a fundmental pillar of the emotional connection to the Audi Sport brand. The engine has achieved countless victories in motorsports from courses in rally around the world to the tarmac in the IMSA GTO and at the Nuerburgring in the legendary 24-hour race, the 5 cylinder has prevailed. It even earned the  “International Engine of the Year Award” nine times in a row since 2010. Yet – it is the unique and distinctive sound of the five-cylinder engine that has captured the emotion of enthusiasts. Due to the odd number of cylinders, and more specifically, the 1-2-4-5-3 firing order, the Audi five-cylinder engine’s sound is unmistakable and presents a symphonic rhythm that is accompanied by deep tone characteristics.

Besides its visibility in motorsports, the legendary engine harkens back to the Ur-quattro coupe from the 1980s, and has been a part of just two U.S. market Audi products over the last few years – the Audi TT RS Coupe and RS 3 Sedan. The engine remains one of brand’s more powerful engines with 394 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque that brings the TT RS Coupe from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

The return of the five-cylinder. A social network comeback
Until 2012, the five-cylinder engine remained absent from the Audi portfolio for nearly 30 years. In 2009, the first Audi TT RS made its global debut in the world markets, and was only a dream to drive on the roads stateside, until Audi of America took a stance to get the car to the U.S. In 2011, Audi of America would exhibit a signed petition on Facebook to bring the first generation TT RS to the U.S. market – the petition resulted in an astounding 12,000 signatures in just one month.

After the success of the social media campaign, Audi of America brought the product in limited production run for just two model years, 2012-2013. In both years, Audi of America offered a total of approximately 1,200 highly collectible TT RS models properly outfitted exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, which became the final manual transmission offer in any Audi RS- model, globally.

    Fond farewell
While 2022 is the last model year for the TT RS in the U.S., the model will live on in other international markets for some time. The 2022 Audi TT RS Heritage Edition and the 2022 Audi TT RS model are expected to go on sale in the U.S. toward the beginning of 2022. The TT RS celebrated its 10 year anniversary since its introduction as a 2012 model year in the US market.

The limited edition model, no doubt to become a sought after model for enthusiasts and collectors alike, celebrates the victory, performance, and expansive history of the legendary five-cylinder engine for the Audi brand which will continue to be available once the all-new RS 3 goes on sale next summer in the U.S.

With a seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch transmission, which can shift gears in as little as 120 ms, the R8 V10 quattro achieves 562 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, and reaches 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top track speed of 201 mph for the Coupe, or 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top track speed of 200 mph for the Spyder.

Previously only available for the R8 performance variants, the limited editions features a carbon fiber front sway bar, which saves 2 kg (4.4 lb) of weight. Audi magnetic ride adjusts the firmness of the dampers and included Audi dynamic steering offers a variable steering ratio that adjusts based on vehicle speed and the Audi drive select setting. At higher driving speeds, a less direct steering ratio helps to facilitate a more stable drive, and at lower driving speeds, a more direct steering ratio is utilized to help increase steering response for easier maneuvering.

The sport exhaust system, also previously only available on the R8 performance variants, amplifies the full bodied sound of the V10 engine, which the driver can adjust using the dedicated satellite button on the steering wheel or via the Audi drive select setting.

    Unique design cues

With the Audi exclusive paint options and alu-optic mirror caps, the R8 makes its distinctive character clear. The lower trim, engine compartment, and side blades are all finished in carbon fiber and the brake calipers are painted red for an even sharper look.

Coupe variants will be offered in the following Audi exclusive paint colors: 15 Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior, five Avus Silver with black interior and red stitching, and five Sonoma Green with black interior and gray stitching. Five Spyders will be offered solely in Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior. All variants include Audi exclusive floor mats, with piping and stitching color-matched to the interior. The 20-inch milled wheels are finished in silver for the first time on an R8 in the U.S.

Sporty race features continue inside, where the driver-oriented interior features a three-spoke multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles and four steering wheel-mounted satellite buttons – engine Start/Stop, Audi drive select, Performance Mode selector and Sport exhaust. As with all R8 variants, the Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI navigation plus come standard. For even further definition, the included carbon interior adds carbon fiber high-gloss surrounds for both the virtual cockpit and the air vents and carbon sigma high-gloss inlays. Coupe models also feature a diamond stitched Alcantara® headliner.

With uncompromised performance and unmistakable design, the R8 model line has represented the pinnacle of Audi performance since its introduction in 2008, and the R8 V10 quattro is no exception.

The limited edition R8 V10 quattro is scheduled go on sale this summer with an MSRP of $186,000 for the Coupe and $195,900 for the Spyder.

The RS 3 is equipped with a 2.5-liter TFSI® turbocharged engine that’s known for its unique firing order and inimitable sound, producing 394 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. An even more distinct engine note will be struck through the Sport exhaust system with black tips, included as standard on the RS 3 Nardo edition.

Specific to the RS 3 is a screen that displays information on tire pressure (when equipped with the Dynamic plus package), horsepower/torque and a G-meter. • Paying Tribute to Tradition: The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition

Paying Tribute to Tradition: The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition

Porsche presents the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, a state-of-the-art 911 with design elements from the 1950s and early 60s and the first of four collector’s pieces of the Heritage Design strategy.

    [source: Porsche AG]

Historical exterior and interior design elements have been reinterpreted and combined with the latest technology in a special limited edition from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The new model is available to order now and will be in dealerships from autumn 2020. Only 992 examples will be built, matching the internal model series code. Along with the introduction of the special edition, selected interior elements will be available as part of the Heritage Design package for all current 911 models. Porsche Design has also created a high-quality chronograph, to be built in restricted numbers as well, exclusively available to purchasers of the new limited edition model.

“With the Heritage Design models, we are evoking memories of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s in customers and fans alike. No brand can translate these elements into the modern day as well as Porsche and, in this way, we are fulfilling the wishes of our customers. We are also establishing a new product line that represents the lifestyle dimension in our product strategy with these exclusive special editions,” says Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG.

Exclusive paintwork in Cherry Metallic or the four other exterior colours that are available, combined with gold logos, creates an authentic look in true 50s style. The exterior of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition features stylish livery in white, with a historical design. The spear-shaped graphic motorsports elements on the front wings are particularly striking, recalling the early days of Porsche competition history. A further highlight is the Porsche Heritage badge on the rear lid grille, which is reminiscent of the one that was awarded back in the day when a Porsche 356 reached the 100,000 kilometres mark. This seal of quality from the past – with a modern twist – will grace the rear of all four Porsche Heritage Design models. The connection between past and present is also emphasised by the 1963 Porsche Crest on the bonnet, steering wheel, wheel centres and vehicle key. The historical motif is also embossed on the head restraints and key pouch. Further emphasis is provided by the new model’s standard 20/21-inch Carrera Exclusive Design wheels and classic-look brake callipers finished in Black.

The interior also pays tribute to the past with the exclusive two-tone leather interior combining Bordeaux Red leather with OLEA club leather in Atacama Beige or Black leather with OLEA club leather in Atacama Beige. The use of corduroy on seats and door trims signals the return of a material used in the Porsche 356, reviving the zeitgeist and fashion of the 50s. The classic looks of the green-illuminated rev counter and stopwatch underline the emotive nature of the concept in the same way that the perforated roofliner in microfibre fabric and extensive Exclusive Manufaktur leather trim do. A metal badge on the trim panel of the dashboard records the individual limited edition number.

The first Heritage Design model is based on the new 992 generation 911 Targa introduced just days ago and has been equipped with the latest technology for chassis, assistance systems and infotainment. It is powered by a high-tech 331 kW (450 PS; 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition: Fuel consumption combined 10.3 – 9.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined 235 – 227 g/km) biturbo boxer engine which, in combination with the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, accelerates the 911 Targa (with Launch Control) from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 304 km/h.

Porsche Heritage Design strategy: re-interpreting classic design elements

The Heritage Design models emphasise the lifestyle dimension that represents particularly emotive concepts within the Porsche product strategy. In this case, the Style Porsche design department and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur are reinterpreting iconic 911 models and interiors of the 50s through to the 80s, bringing period characteristics of those times back to life. The Heritage Design package for the 2019 911 Speedster provided an initial preview of this strategy and Porsche will, in time, produce a total of four special limited edition models.

911 Targa 4S Heritage Design edition chronograph: the watch to match the car

In the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition Chronograph, Porsche Design has created a high-quality timepiece exclusively for owners of the new car. This mechanical watch has an elegant and clean design and, just like the car, is limited to 992 units. Again just like the car, the designers have drawn their inspiration for many of its details from the legendary Porsche 356 and iconic Porsche 911 Targa. For example, the design of its watch face, with its white second hand and Phosphorus Green rings, is inspired by the cars’ speedometer and rev counter while the hours on the watch face are inscribed in a font that is deeply characteristic of Porsche. The new watch’s strap is made of genuine Porsche interior leather and the way that 911 is embossed in it is a further tribute to the iconic sports car.

  • Exclusive Special-Edition Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition Revealed

Exclusive Special-Edition Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition Revealed

To mark the 15th anniversary of the customer and club sport series “Porsche Sports Cup Germany”, Porsche is offering a limited special-edition model in motor sports design: the 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition.

    [source: Porsche AG]

The sporty and exclusive model celebrated its premiere as part of a special event for Porsche fans at the Hockenheimring on Saturday, 12 October, 2019. With a large “Sportscar Together Day” event, the sports car manufacturer is celebrating both the opening of the new Porsche Experience Centre Hockenheimring and the season finale of the Porsche Sports Cup. The 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition is available for a limited period from 14 October, 2019 in the 88 German Porsche Centres.

Alexander Pollich, Managing Director of Porsche Deutschland GmbH and Alexander Fabig, Head of Individualisation and Classic at Porsche AG, present the 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition at the Sportscar Together Day (l-r)

“At the ‘Sportscar Together Day’, Porsche enthusiasts from all over the world can experience the multi-faceted fascination of the brand,” says Alexander Pollich, CEO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH. “The large meeting of our customers and fans directly at the race track provides the ideal backdrop for the premiere of our 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition. We have designed this special-edition model for the German market together with the experts from Style Porsche and the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.” Alexander Fabig, Head of Personalisation and Classic at Porsche AG, adds: “High-quality customisation from the factory is the core competence of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. With the new Sports Cup Edition, we show once more how very special sports cars are created through the combination of craftsmanship and passion for detail.”

    The exterior: numerous colour contrasts

The edition will be offered in the exterior colours Black and White. Multiple red highlights provide a distinctive contrast and underline the motor sports design. On the driver’s side, a red double stripe with Porsche logotype extends over the entire vehicle. This is complemented by a red Porsche logotype on the rear wing. Its supports are painted in Guards Red.

A red stripe also decorates the side view. The number “15” is integrated here. This is designed like a race number and refers to the anniversary of the Porsche Sports Cup. The 20-inch wheels are painted Black (satin gloss), while the rim flange is finished in Guards Red. The brake callipers and logotypes on the rear are in black. The special edition is delivered as standard with an exclusive indoor car cover. Its design in black with red double stripe picks up the features of the special-edition model.

The interior: with special driver’s seat and high-quality details

Based on a black leather/Alcantara interior, various highlights in red also create a link to motor sports in the cabin. In addition to the decorative stitching on the dashboard and door panels, the seat belts and door opener loops are also in Guards Red.

A red centre panel made of Alcantara distinguishes the driver’s seat from the passenger seat. Other features include the Alcantara steering wheel with red 12 o’clock marking and the black gear lever with red shift pattern. The trim elements in the doors, dashboard and centre console are finished in black brushed aluminium.

The decorative trim on the passenger’s side and the door entry guard made of carbon bear the lettering “718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition”. The centre console armrest is made of Alcantara and features an embossed “Porsche 15 Jahre Sports Cup Deutschland” logo. The package is completed by individual floor mats with leather border in black and Guards Red stitching as well as the steering column trim in Alcantara.

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4: the entry into GT road vehicles

The basis is the new 718 Cayman GT4 with the 309 kW (420 PS; Fuel consumption combined 10.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 249 g/km) four-litre, six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. The distinctive features include the aerodynamics concept with large front spoiler lip, air curtains, diffuser and fixed rear wing. The GT running gear permits an emotionally charged driving experience thanks to its outstanding cornering dynamics. The PASM damping system (Porsche Active Suspension Management) is designed specifically for race track driving. Lowering by 30 millimetres also improves the transverse dynamics potential.

Porsche Sports Cup: race events for everyone

The Porsche Sports Cup is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2019 and is the most successful customer and club sport series in the world with up to 1,200 drivers per season. The Porsche Sports Cup consists of six race series. Depending on the series, drivers both with and without a licence as well as a wide range of different Porsche models, including race and classic cars, can take part. The race weekends are held on famous race tracks.

    Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur

The main focus of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is custom personalisation for all Porsche models. Perfect craftsmanship and high-tech are combined to create very individual customer vehicles. 30 highly qualified employees devote their full attention to every detail and take the time needed to optimise these details to perfection by hand. • Audi A6 allroad Returns to USA, Including Limited Anniversary Edition

Audi A6 allroad Returns to USA, Including Limited Anniversary Edition

    • All-new Audi A6 allroad returns following its original introduction in 2000
    • Offers high versatility and maximum comfort with enhanced capabilities on and off-road enabled by adaptive air suspension
    • Limited Anniversary Edition offers exterior design elements and exclusive Gavial Green exterior color is available in celebration of original allroad

HERNDON, VA – Following the success and enthusiast fanfare of past generations, the A6 allroad makes its U.S. return in 2020 with a specially tuned adaptive air suspension and quattro® with ultra® technology. The A6 allroad is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 TFSI® engine that gives it the power to match the vehicle’s versatile character and distinctive design. Whether making first tracks on dirt roads or arriving to opening night at the theatre, the allroad remains the perfect car for any occasion.

    Designed for adventure

The dynamic and refined design of the A6 model line is combined with striking off-road enhancements to emphasize the wagon’s distinct character. Wheel arches and rocker panels are painted in Scandium gray matte that contrast the body paint to emphasize rugged elements. For a more refined esthetic, a full-paint option is also available. A wide allroad-specific grille with chrome vertical slats and 20-inch wheels also differentiate the wagon from its sedan counterpart. Alu-optic finish can be found on the standard roof rails, front blade and underbody protection, and the allroad-specific diffuser in the rear, to further complement the Avant design cues of the vehicle.

The inside of the A6 allroad yields a truly premium experience by maintaining the same extensive infotainment range and driver assistance systems that can be found in the A6 sedan. Further premium features include a standard dual pane panoramic sunroof, Ambient LED interior lighting package, and a Bang & Olufsen® 3D Premium Sound System.

    The road ahead

A specially tuned adaptive air suspension with controlled damping allows the A6 allroad to switch between on and off-road driving situations, making it ready for the adventure ahead. Ride height is adjusted depending on the mode set using the Audi drive select system and road speed. At its maximum height, the allroad sits 1.8 inches higher than the A6 sedan to enable additional clearance over rugged terrain for a total ground clearance of 7.3 inches. Drivers can choose between six driving modes to best fit nearly any driving scenario.

    • Auto: provides the most balanced engine and chassis response (5.5 inches of ground clearance)
    • Comfort: lighter steering feel and smoother throttle input makes smooth and comfortable driving (5.5 inches of ground clearance)
    • Dynamic: heavier steering feel along with immediate throttle responses and sporty gear changes (-0.6 inches lower)
    • Individual: driver chooses each setting according to preference
    • Offroad: provides increased ground clearance (+1.2 inches) at speeds up to 21.7 mph
    • Lift: provides an additional 0.6 inches of lift above Offroad mode, when traveling under 21.7 mph

The A6 allroad also offers additional standard comfort features including standard hill descent control, tilt angle assist and dynamic all-wheel steering. When negotiating light terrain, the driver can call up a display on the MMI monitor that shows the current tilt angle in the longitudinal and transverse directions – displaying a warning when the vehicle is at risk of tipping over. On a steep slope, the hill descent control limits the speed to a speed decided by the driver and brakes all four wheels selectively and individually as necessary. On loose surfaces the system provides an additional braking wedge in front of the wheel by using a special ABS brake function.

    Comfortable meets capable

The 2020 A6 allroad is standard equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter TFSI® engine and Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology that work in tandem to efficiently produce 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The allroad uses a seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard quattro® with ultra® technology.

    Anniversary Edition: celebrating 20 years

The available Anniversary Edition A6 allroad pays homage to the vehicle’s adventurous history by offering an exclusive Gavial Green color option, as well as Sarder brown Valcona leather with Fine Nappa accents. The special Gavial Green color in the modern Avant takes its cues from the Highland Green color of the original A6 allroad model that debuted in 2000. The Anniversary Edition also includes Fine Grain Ash Natural Noble Wood inlays, pedals and footrest in stainless steel, a leather seat base, and leather airbag cap with contrast stitching.
