Cadillac Unveils SOLLEI Concept: A Vision of Bespoke Luxury

Detroit, MI — Today, Cadillac introduced the SOLLEI concept vehicle, the ultimate design expression of a coach-built luxury electric convertible. This imaginative design exercise pushes the boundaries of future bespoke commissions, tailored to reflect the unique passions and interests of its clientele.

SOLLEI conceptualizes an all-electric, 2+2 convertible equipped with the brand’s signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar screen, awe-inspiring interior, exterior lighting chorography for arrival and departure, and intuitive front and rear command console.

Defined in its name sun (‘SOL’) and leisure (‘LEI’), SOLLEI represents Cadillac’s optimistic inspiration for an open-air, leisurely lifestyle.

“SOLLEI reimagines the discovery of travel, envisioning a personalized driving experience that connects one with the natural world around them,” said Erin Crossley, design director, Cadillac. “The concept celebrates Cadillac’s pedigree of elegant convertibles in a modern form by cultivating high luxury through design expressions and experiences.”

SOLLEI is also Cadillac’s first concept vehicle to incorporate an innovative bio-based material developed in collaboration with MycoWorks. Used in the charging mats on the console and the door map pockets, Fine Mycelium™ by MycoWorks is ushering in a new era of luxury materials grown from mycelium (the renewable root structure of mushrooms). The material reflects Cadillac’s mission to pioneer renewable automotive resources.

    Sophisticated exterior, clean body style
The SOLLEI’s exterior exudes emotion and embodies Cadillac’s unmistakable bold proportions. The low, elongated body is accentuated by a wide stance and long coupe door, facilitating easy access to the spacious rear.

The uninterrupted surfaces and stretched A-line emphasize the vehicle’s length, while the low tail design creates dynamic yet elegant proportions. The mid-body line seamlessly connects the headlamp to the taillight, unifying the car’s harmonious design. Conventional door handles are replaced with discrete buttons helping to enable the clean profile line.

Celebrating Cadillac’s heritage of bold colors, the exterior is finished in “Manila Cream,” a color originally used on Cadillacs in 1957 and 1958. This revived finish was meticulously curated and hand-painted by Cadillac craftsmen.

    Artistic interior, expressive personality
The interior of SOLLEI channels Cadillac’s “art of travel” design philosophy, elevating the travel experience for both the driver and the passenger. Features include a fully integrated beverage chiller with a power glass door and crystal glasses seamlessly blending leisure with travel.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of Cadillac design. Every detail is intentionally designed to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Illuminated décor and unique embellishments add expression to the brand’s unparalleled aesthetics. The interior decor, wrapped in unstained wood veneers, honors natural color and grain pattern variations, while surfaces feature open pore finishes that can be felt by touch. Each piece is hand-cut and hand-laid using marquetry techniques, creating a beautiful focal point that draws the eye from the front doors to the console, and into the rear compartment.  The windshield is framed in milled brushed aluminum continuing Cadillac’s use of natural materials.

    Personalization and nature connection
Cadillac design utilizes lighting in many of our products as a layer of personalization. SOLLEI elevates this offering with distinguished ambient lighting for true customization including multiple zones and 126 color options in each zone. The lighting can evoke specific moods and personalize the interior ambiance.

SOLLEI also caters to bird-watching connoisseurs with a unique interior accessory. A custom brushed metal and leather-wrapped case houses 3D printed acrylic bird calls, a leather-bound journal with hand painted bird illustrations and a leather tool roll for pens and pencils, made to custom match the vehicle interior, allowing enthusiasts to capture their bird-watching experiences.

    Celestial and optimistic design
SOLLEI celebrates the optimism of travel and the celestial environment with its rich sensory engagement, unexpected discoveries, and sense of occasion. Sun themed features are pronounced in its color, materials, and finishes:

    • Unique sunburst-themed lighting and graphic choreography.
    • Sunburst motif perforation, quilting, and embroidery on seat patterns.
    • Interior Fine Nappa leather featuring a pink iridescent pigment that creates a subtle color-changing sunrise effect.
    • Charging mats on the console, door map pockets and custom accessories are made from MycoWorks’ premium bio-based material created using their Fine MyceliumTM technology. This material is in an iridescent finish in a soft hue color palette.
    • Pink iridescent hue on the beverage chiller door and glass tray in the rear compartment that reveals different sunlight exposures.
    • “Aurora” tint on primary metal finishes, which includes color shifting to reflect the phenomenon of the sun’s solar winds reacting with the earth’s atmosphere.
    • Convertible metallic roof fabric called “Daybreak”, whose name ties to the functionality of the convertible roof; as the roof pulls back, sunlight can pour over the interior.
    • Textured floormat material named “Bask”, a boucle fabric adding beautiful texture and subtle warmth, matching the color of the roof material keeping the whole interior very light.

Continuing the tradition of bespoke expression
The SOLLEI convertible exercise represents the brand’s vision to offer modern design this time in an open-air format, inspired by iconic Cadillacs from the past.

The concept was officially unveiled at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a newly restored, state-of-the-art facility at GM’s Global Technical Center campus in Warren, Michigan. This location is dedicated to providing a bespoke design experience for Cadillac CELESTIQ clients.

  • Market Find: Porsche Paint to Sample Polar Silver 911 Targa 4 GTS

Market Find: Porsche Paint to Sample Polar Silver 911 Targa 4 GTS

There’s a fairly fine line between tasteful and outlandish in the Tailored Driver world, but for me, this straddles it perfectly.

Featuring a relatively tame Paint to Sample Polar Silver exterior juxtaposed spectacularly by the Agave Green leather interior, this Targa 4 GTS demands a second, third, and potentially fourth look from passers by. The longer you stare, the more the claimed $249k sticker price makes sense.

If you’re looking to hit a home run in the secondhand bespoke world, look no further than Ferrari of San Diego, where this Targa 4 GTS currently is for sale at an undisclosed sum.

  • Monterey Preview: 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet for Auction with RM

Monterey Preview: 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet for Auction with RM

Third of just Seven short-wheelbase Ferrari 400 Superamerica Cabriolets, there’s no doubt this fully restored specimen (chassis #: 1945 SA) will command a large price when it crosses RM Sothebys’ block at Monterey Car Week in August. And while it is exemplary of the car-as-art 1960s era at Ferrari, it’s this car’s unique factory correct green hue of Verde Bottiglia that grabs our attention the most.

The color combination, Verde Bottiglia exterior with Rosso (red) leather is also fascinating. The pairing makes the car one of one, but even more interesting to us is how well the two colors work together. Green and red can be a mixed bag in how the two colors play off of each other, though they seem to work well here. Then again, what color combination wouldn’t work well on a 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet by Pininfarina?

Check out the full description from RM below the photo gallery, and direct link to this Lot’s listing page HERE.

    • The third of seven short-wheelbase 400 Superamerica Cabriolets
    • Fully restored to concours standards by US-based Ferrari specialists Classic Coach and Greg Jones
    • Well-maintained by Autofficina Omega in its current ownership
    • Ferrari Classiche Red Book certified; finished in its striking, factory-correct, one-off combination of Verde Bottiglia over Rosso
    • Formerly of the Oscar Davis Collection
    • Seldom shown since its most recent restoration; an exciting concours opportunity

Addendum: Please note that an import duty of 2.5% of the purchase price is payable on this lot if the buyer is a resident of the United States.

Ferrari’s Superamerica models of the late 1950s and early 1960s were truly the last word in sporting excellence. Offering the very best money could buy in terms of luxury and performance, it is no surprise that these cars often found their way into the garages of heads of state, barons of industry, and other well-to-do individuals.

Succeeding the 410 Superamerica, the 400 Superamerica offered numerous improvements over its predecessor. While the engine decreased in displacement from 5.0 liters to 4.0 liters, several other new features countered this. The 5.0-liter V-12 was a “long-block” Lampredi-designed unit, while the revised smaller engine was based on the Colombo single-overhead-camshaft powertrain that was first utilized in the 250 Europa GT. To increase the capacity from 3.0 liters, the bore was enlarged to 77 millimeters and the stroke was lengthened to 71 millimeters, providing a total capacity of 3,967 cubic centimeters. Furthermore, a twin-coil and distributor ignition system was used, along with triple Weber carburetors, granting the engine an improved 340 horsepower—but also an incredible 400 Nm (295 pound-feet) of torque from 2,000 rpm and a maximum torque or 450 Nm (331 pound-feet) at 6,000 rpm.

As a result, these cars are considered today among the best-driving of 1960s Ferraris. Boasting 25% greater engine capacity than a 250 GT Berlinetta or California Spider, the 400 Superamerica produces far more horsepower and torque than either of its forebears. The 400 Superamerica was also fitted with an overdrive as standard—while no overdrive was available for the 250 GT models apart from the GTE—making it far more comfortable to drive over long distances. Finally, it is important to remember that the 400 Superamerica’s chassis and powertrain were so great that they provided the basis for the 330 LMB and 330 TRi racing cars, of which the 330 TRi LM won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1962.

The 400 Superamerica production run can be divided into two groups, based on either long- or short-wheelbase chassis. The first batch of cars produced—which includes the car on offer here, chassis 1945 SA—boasted a 2,420-millimeter chassis, while the second batch boasts the longer 2,600-millimeter chassis. Of the short-wheelbase cars, just 25 examples were produced, with only seven bodied as cabriolets.

THE THIRD OF SEVEN SHORT-WHEELBASE CABRIOLETS

Chassis number 1945 SA was constructed in mid-1960 as the third of those seven short-wheelbase cabriolets, and it was built to left-hand-drive configuration with open headlamps. It was finished in a beautiful, one-off color combination of Verde Bottiglia (MM 16364) over Rosso (VM 3171). It was fitted from new with a set of three Weber 46 DCF carburetors, like on a 250 SWB “SEFAC Hot Rod,” and a pair of Bosch ignition distributors. The coachwork was completed by Pinin Farina in July of 1960 and was sold new to Helmut Horton, a German entrepreneur based in Croglio, Switzerland. In January of the following year, the car was registered in Milan under Horten Italiana S.r.l, and it remained in Italy for the following three years under Horton’s ownership.

The Superamerica was officially exported out of Italy in spring of 1964 and was next known with a Mr. Warzits in Germany. By 1985, the car was acquired by Bernard Pfister of Geneva, Switzerland, now repainted white. Pfister repainted the car red in 1989 and it remained in Switzerland with him for the next few years, typically on display at Ferrari Suisse SA in Nyon.

In June 1997, 1945 SA was listed for sale in Marseille, France and was purchased one month later by Scott Rosen of Bedford Hills, New York. Subsequently exported to the United States, the car remained in his ownership for two years before being purchased by the late noted sports car enthusiast Oscar Davis of Elizabeth, New Jersey.

One year later, Davis sold the Superamerica to a Florida-based collector, yet the car would stay in northern New Jersey for the time being, as it was entrusted to Classic Coach for a full restoration. Founded in 1972 and well-known and regarded in Ferrari circles in the United States, Classic Coach was Ferrari’s first authorized bodywork repair facility in the US. Their owners would later open two authorized Ferrari dealerships in the US: Ferrari of Central Florida and Ferrari of Tampa Bay.

It was decided that chassis 1945 SA would be returned to its original color combination of Verde Bottiglia over Rosso during this complete, frame-off restoration. No cost was spared to restore the Superamerica back to a spectacular standard. Following the completion of the restoration work, the car was shipped to noted Ferrari specialist Greg Jones of Stuart, Florida. Jones was entrusted with further dialing in the car mechanically, ensuring that every facet of the car worked perfectly. Receipts for the work completed by both Classic Coach and Greg Jones are in the car’s history file.

Remaining with that owner until 2015, the car was sold via RM Sotheby’s to its current owner, a Monaco-based enthusiast—a discerning collector who happened to do business in the past with the first owner. With him, the car returned to Europe, and has been used and enjoyed as its manufacturer would have intended. Seen occasionally driving around the streets of Monaco, the car has been shown once at Elégance et Automobile à Monte-Carlo in 2019.

Chassis 1945 SA was granted Ferrari Classiche certification in 2016, confirming that it retains its original body, chassis, transmission, and rear axle. Classiche documentation notes that the current engine, stamped 1945 SA, is a replacement engine that was installed by the Ferrari factory in November of 1963. With its current owner, the car has been very well maintained by Autofficina Omega of Corrado Patella, including further mechanical work to ensure it drives and performs as one would expect. Its most recent service work with them was the fitment of a new clutch in February 2020.

Presenting in excellent condition throughout, this special 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet is sure to be welcomed with open arms at major concours events worldwide. Well-maintained and enjoyed with its current owner, it could easily be used on the road as a warm-weather weekend driver. Regardless of whether it is to be enjoyed on the open road or the concours lawn, it will certainly be a joy to own and will attract only the most favorable of compliments wherever it goes.

Gaydon, UK – The House of Q, a new pop-up experience by Aston Martin inside London’s prestigious Burlington Arcade, has been created to celebrate 60 years of Aston Martin’s long-running association with the 007 film franchise. The relationship began with the 1964 release of Goldfinger, the film which introduced James Bond to the now iconic DB5.

Launched alongside V57, a special James Bond anniversary edition of Aston Martin’s luxury lifestyle magazine, the House of Q by Aston Martin is accessed through a secret door within what appears to be a magazine newsstand inside House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, off Piccadilly in London’s Mayfair. V57 features a specially designed illustration on the cover as well as editorial detailing the relationship between Aston Martin and 007.

Covert messages will lead guests through a secret door. Visiting agents will then discover a speakeasy bar serving Champagne Bollinger. The bar is adorned with technical drawings and parts from the original DB5 with sketches, diagrams and schematics from the archives of both Aston Martin and EON Productions. On display is a top-secret Q flight case, along with hints at a future Aston Martin model, for those able to uncover it.

Often described as “the most famous car in the world”, the DB5 is the car that established Aston Martin as one of Britain’s most desirable luxury brands, quickly becoming the ultimate status symbol of the Swinging Sixties. First launched in September 1963, DB5 had a potent 4.0-litre engine and a top speed exceeding 150mph. Its styling, courtesy of Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, created a sophisticated design, which when matched with its performance produced a car that people dreamed of owning. When DB5 was chosen to be in Goldfinger, laden with gadgets to help Bond fight his arch-enemy Auric Goldfinger, its iconic status was sealed forever.

Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of Aston Martin, said: “Aston Martin and James Bond are two British icons, forever linked. We are delighted to be celebrating this important 60th anniversary throughout 2024, marking the continuation of what is cinema’s longest running and most successful product placement.

“The House of Q by Aston Martin provides something very special for our community of Aston Martin customers, enthusiasts, and fans of 007 to enjoy. We encourage everyone to join us on an immersive entry into the world of Bond and Aston Martin, celebrating our unique history with the films, spanning back to Goldfinger.”

The Bond theme is carried into every detail at the House of Q by Aston Martin where guests will see the original Goldfinger script, film posters and set photography. Sound is delivered by the stunning audio of Bowers & Wilkins, a brand with an enduring relationship with the music of Bond.

Guests may also head upstairs where they will discover the Configurator Lab. This will provide the opportunity for customers to work with Aston Martin design experts to configure their perfect Aston Martin.

The House of Q will host daily events, including design workshops hosted by the Aston Martin design and engineering teams.

From Burlington Arcade’s inception in 1819, it has positioned itself as an exclusive shopping destination for luxury brands. The prime location of the Arcade is parallel to Bond Street and has an entry via Piccadilly. Today the arcade is home to 47 brands specialising in accessories focused on watches, jewellery. leather goods, shoes and cashmere.

Trupti Shah, Commercial Director Burlington Arcade commented: ‘’Burlington Arcade is thrilled to be jointly celebrating this milestone year for James Bond and Aston Martin. The continued partnership between our brands is extremely exciting and we are honoured to be the landmark destination capturing this iconic moment in cinema history.’’

The House of Q by Aston Martin opens to the public on Thursday 18 July and can be found at House 12-13, Burlington Arcade, 51 Piccadilly, London W1J 0QJ. It will remain in Burlington Arcade until Sunday 4 August.

  • Porsche Ushers In Return of Slate Grey with Slate Grey Neo

Porsche Ushers In Return of Slate Grey with Slate Grey Neo

Porsche chose the introduction of the Macan 4S, a middleweight take on the new electric Macan, to confirm its reintroduction of an iconic grey color made famous by Steve McQueen. Slate Grey Neo will now be made available for the Macan E. Interestingly, it also appears to be a standard color on the new 992.2 Porsche 911 GTS hybrid.

If you’ve ever watched the iconic Steve McQueen movie Le Mans, you probably remember the opening of the movie where McQueen’s character rolls through the city of Le Mans’ old historic center and pausing to stop in front of the Roman-era cathedral. In that scene, he’s driving a Slate Grey 911S. Over the years, the movie and that car have all enjoyed icon status. In fact, it left such an impression on McQueen that he ended up owning an identically specced car back at home in Los Angeles.

As Porsche has reformulated some of its classic colors for modern cars and painting with a series of “Neo”-named hues, that it would revisit Slate Grey was probably always to be expected. The overall results are certainly very attractive.

Interestingly, though Porsche confirmed Slate Grey Neo for the electric Macan 4S, it didn’t reveal any photos of that car in that particular color just yet. When we searched the brand’s photo stock inventory though, we did find shots of the new 992.2 GTS hybrid in the same color and have formatted them here for this story.

The new Lamborghini Revuelto, showcased in Ad Personam Grigio Artis (grey) color featuring Nero Ade and Rosso Andra (red) contrast interiors, is the marque’s first V12 super sports plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) and represents a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept.  The recently presented in Beijing, Urus SE, the first Plug-in Hybrid Super SUV, featuring new design, on-board technology and a V8 twin turbo engine that together with the electric powertrain offers a luxurious and high-performance SUV experience with 800 CV. The Super SUV is showcased in Arancio Egon (orange) launch color in combination with Arancio Apodis (orange) interiors.

In a vast assortment of samples, a plentitude of exterior colors, interior upholsteries, finishes, and details available at Lamborghini can be selected in the virtual configurator with a Lamborghini product specialist. The brand’s main Ad Personam Studio, located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, showcases more than 400 colors in its portfolio, offering customers infinite possibilities to express their personality in their new super sports cars.

    Urus SE
The lastly presented and the first hybrid plug-in version of the Lamborghini Super SUV, opens a new chapter in the history of the marque. The SE features a new design, optimized aerodynamics, unprecedented on-board technology and an 800 CV hybrid powertrain, the PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version moves on Urus S in terms of comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions and driving pleasure. Thanks to its “two hearts”, thermal and electric, the torque and power values are the highest ever, giving the SE a unique place in its category and boasting an 80% reduction in emissions.

The twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine has been re-engineered to work in optimal synergy with the electric powertrain of the SSUV. The Internal Combustion Engine develops 620 CV of power (456 kW) and 800 Nm of driving torque; the combustion unit is combined with an electric powertrain delivering 192 CV (141 kW) and 483 Nm of torque. In delivering maximum output the main focus has been on the calibration strategy between ICE and e-motor, reaching a total output of 800 CV to ensure an optimal power curve in every driving mode and on every surface. A 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery is situated below the load floor and above the electronically controlled rear differential.

The design of Urus SE highlights the dynamics of the form, accentuating the vehicle’s sportiness and muscularity. The front section features a new hood with a floating design, where the absence of the cut-off line gives a sense of continuity and amplifies the athletic style of the Urus SE, recalling certain new styling concepts introduced by the Revuelto.  Other new elements include the headlight clusters that feature matrix LED technology, introducing a brand-new light signature inspired by the tail of the Lamborghini brand’s bull, along with a redesigned bumper and front grill.

Unique in its category, the Urus SE offers greater torque and power at any rpm or driving condition thanks also to “tamburo”. The system develops a total power output of 800 CV (588 kW) at 6000 rpm and a total torque of 950 Nm already available at 1750 rpm and up to 5750 rpm, ensuring best-in-class performance from every angle. This is also thanks to a further enhanced weight-to-power ratio: 3.13 kg/CV (compared to 3.3 in the Urus S). The Urus SE sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds (Urus S: 3.5) and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.2 seconds (Urus S: 12.5), reaching a top speed of 312 km/h (Urus S: 305 km/h). These figures make the SE the most powerful Urus ever and the fastest production car in the segment, setting a new benchmark in the Super SUV category.

    Revuelto
The Lamborghini Revuelto is the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design, maximum-efficiency aerodynamics, and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time.

The powertrain combines high specific power elements: the new 128 CV/liter combustion engine works synergistically with two front axial flux motors that deliver an outstanding weight-to-power ratio, with a radial flux electric motor positioned above the first eight-speed double-clutch gearbox debuting on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion high specific power (4500 W/kg) battery pack that also supports a fully electric drive mode.

Carbon fiber, produced via artisan craftsmanship in the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, is the principal structural element within the supercar, used not only in the monofuselage and frame but also in all elements of the bodywork apart from the doors and bumpers. The extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials, combined with the potent engine power, contributes to achieving the best weight-to-power ratio in the history of Lamborghini: 1.75 kg/CV.

Revuelto combines the performance attributes with outstanding new aerodynamic design to deliver performance figures at the peak of its segment: acceleration from 0-100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds; 0-200 km/h in less than seven seconds; and a top speed of more than 350 km/h. These numbers fit with its exceptional dynamism thanks to the introduction of electric torque vectoring and four-wheel drive available also in fully electric drive mode, ensuring the Revuelto super sports car expresses its amplified qualities both on track and in daily driving.

  • Market Find: Audi exclusive Goodwood Green S4 Avant

Market Find: Audi exclusive Goodwood Green S4 Avant

An Audi exclusive 2004 Audi S4 Avant is a rare find. You see the exclusive program from Audi wasn’t as popular in the early 2000s as it is today. So finding a custom build from that era is truly exclusive. Here we have a Goodwood Green Pearl Effect (goodwoodgrün; pearl effect UNI; Z6X; Audi) over “Panda” two-tone interior B6 S4 Avant from Lafayette, IN. The car has about 144,000 miles and the seller states: “The timing chains were done around 130k by the previous owner. Mechanically in good condition runs and drives with no issue, cosmetically could use some love like any 20-year-old car. Originally a West Coast car, no rust, mostly just rock chips, and no bubbling or peeling paint.

The only modification is lowered on lowering springs and B7 S4 wheels, also done by the previous owner. Selling it because this is my second wagon and I just don’t drive it enough and don’t have the time to make it return to its original glory.”

In the original post, the seller also attached a video of a cold start to showcase there is no chain rattle and the engine has a clean bill of health. Below are more photos and the original post can be found on Facebook Marketplace.

The First BMW M3 Competition Touring in Individual Ruby Star

Being first always comes with some bragging rights and according to BMW Welt | BMW Museum, this is the first M3 Competition Touring in BMW Individual Ruby Star (P9L) solid delivered in Germany. BMW Welt | BMW Museum probably has the best database for things like this so we wouldn’t argue with them. First or last, this is an exciting color for an exciting car.

Ruby Star is deeply rooted in the heritage of certain luxury car manufacturers. Notably, Porsche introduced Ruby Star (also known as Rubystar or Rubystone Red) as a special color in the early 1990s, establishing it as an iconic choice among collectors and enthusiasts of the brand.

It was also stated that the vehicle was collected at BMW Welt. We hope to see more photos of this car online and eventually run a full feature on it. Check out the original Instagram post and more photos below.

BMW Individual Fire Orange – U94

This one is HOT! Fire Orange (U94) is famously associated with the BMW M3 GTS, a limited-edition track-focused variant of the E92 M3. It has since been available on other models through BMW Individual.

Fire Orange is a bright and vivid orange, making it one of the more attention-grabbing colors in BMW’s palette. It typically has a high-gloss finish, which enhances its bold appearance and highlights the car’s lines and contours.

Below is a gallery of several BMW cars painted in Fire Orange and posted to Instagram by some of our favorite accounts.

BMW Individual San Marino Blue Metallic 2023 BMW M3 Touring – Filmed

Colors are dynamic and full of depth, influenced significantly by lighting. While pictures can serve as a useful reference, they can’t capture the full spectrum of color. Beyond the naked eye, video offers the next best way to appreciate the true nuances of color.

In today’s video from European Prestige, we find ourselves in awe. Not only is it a BMW Individual San Marino Blue (sanmarinoblau; metallic; B51; BMW) M3, but it’s also a touring version of the model—something BMW enthusiasts have been requesting for decades. Our US audience can only drool over this and hope that one day we will get an M3 Touring stateside. According to the dealership, the M3 is currently “Under Offer” and will likely sell soon.

Check out the video below and see this BMW Individual San Marino Blue M3 for yourself.
