Our first formal Market Find is somewhat of an oddity, which we find quite fitting.
This 2004 BMW 325i convertible is not only a lower spec trim level within the E46 generation 3 series playbook, but the original tailor opted for the ever controversial shade of Phoenix Yellow from the range topping M3.
Life has happened to this example, and the disclosed Rebuilt title is proof of that. But we prefer dreams to be not just in the heads of our compatriots, but also on the road.
For the $5,500 asked at time of writing, this could just be the cheapest one way ticket to becoming a Tailored Driver.

With typical Audi performance thanks to quattro all-wheel drive, a five-cylinder engine, and sensational appearance, the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO conquered the racetracks of North America at the end of the 1980s. Today, the victorious vehicle inspires the new top model of another icon from Audi’s portfolio: the Audi RS 6 Avant GT2. New photos show the special model, limited to 660 cars, against the backdrop of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the unmistakable nature of the surrounding landscape.
As the second-largest car market in the world, the USA is an important growth market for Audi. The company wants to strengthen its brand in North America and sees the region as one of three pillars worldwide. Ten new market launches will follow by 2026 as part of this strategy. Now in its fourth generation, the Audi RS 6 Avant3 enjoys cult status in the USA.

Collection celebrates the vibrant Turkish city’s unique blend of history, art and modernity
Limited edition trio consists of the Continental GT Azure V8, Flying Spur Azure V8 and Bentayga Azure V8 models
Set to go on sale in early June, the collection pays tribute to the city’s historic landmarks including the Sultanahmet Mosque, Maiden’s Tower, Galata Tower and Bosphorus Bridges

Munich, GERMANY – Bentley Motors today introduces a trio of limited edition models that includes a Continental GT Azure V8, a Flying Spur Azure V8 and a Bentayga Azure V8, all handbuilt at Bentley’s factory in Crewe, England and only available through Bentley Istanbul. The exclusive trio – the Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection – celebrates the rich cultural heritage, world-famous landmarks and beautiful art of the historic Turkish city of Istanbul.
Working closely with the team at Bentley Istanbul, the craftspeople from Bentley’s Mulliner bespoke division chose an accent colour concept for the Istanbul Silhouette Collection that is inspired by both the rich blue and turquoise hues of the Bosphorus Strait that connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara, and the open skies reflected in its waters.
On the exterior, striking Black Sapphire paint provides the perfect canvas for sporty highlights in ‘Dragonfly’ blue, such as the blue strip to the carbon side skirts and the special Silhouette tread plates.
The colour theme carries on throughout each car’s interior, with special Istanbul Silhouette embroidery of the city’s Maiden’s Tower, the Galata Tower and the famous bridges over the Bosphorus displayed in Dragonfly Blue across the headrests and cushions in the rear. These are covered with hides of Imperial Blue and Beluga, inspired by the clear blue patterned tiles of the famous Sultanahmet Mosque.
Further distinguishing the Istanbul Silhouette Collection models, ‘Piano Imperial Blue’ wood and natural jewel-like ‘Galaxy’ stone feature on the front panel and infotainment area, while another personalised feature is the specially designed key box that serves as a reminder of the exclusive nature of the car and the equally remarkable location.
The city of Istanbul enjoys a strategic position in the world, sitting at the point where East meets West. It is a place where European cultures mix with those of Asia, in a riot of colourful streetscapes and a unique blend of history and art, juxtaposed with modernity and innovation. To appeal to its discerning Turkish customers, the limited edition Mulliner models have been designed to blend the city’s cultural heritage with Bentley’s commitment to luxury and innovation.
Kerem Güven, General Manager of Bentley Istanbul, commented: “We have seen the Bentley brand grow and prosper over the last 17 years in Istanbul. The market for bespoke craftsmanship has increased here, so we anticipate strong interest from our discerning customers for this exclusive collection, which celebrates our city’s unique blend of history, art, and modernity.”
Balazs Rooz, Director at Bentley Motors Europe, added: “Mulliner represents the pinnacle of the Bentley experience, with bespoke details that reflect a place, time or celebrate an occasion. Each limited edition car features beautiful interior decor, stitching details and visuals of Istanbul, while also using sustainable materials and designs from the city itself, all carefully created in the Mulliner workshop in Crewe.”
Bentley Mulliner’s Istanbul Silhouette Collection will go on sale in early June and will be available for viewing at the showroom. Bentley Istanbul is represented by the brand’s long-standing partner, Doğuş Otomotiv, and is located at Maslak in the Doğuş Center. There is also a pop-up store in Galaport.
One tailored build headed for auction during Monterey Car Week 2024 is this very unique 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic (VIN: WP0AG2A90PS252368) being sold without reserve by RM Sotheby’s. Sold via Porsche North Houston, you may not be all that surprised looking at the spec that this 992 was built for the White Collection.
We’ve been unable to confirm the specific white, but the associated documents provided by RM do confirm the white that covers it is a Paint to Sample shade. It’s also worth noting that this car had plenty of Sonderwunsch factory commissioned modifications. These include many components color-matched white, and a striking red interior.
Below the gallery is a the full description provided by RM Sotheby’s. Find more photos and information on the car HERE.

The most powerful Porsche Type 992 911 with a manual transmission
One of 1,250 examples produced
Delivered new to the White Collection
Extensively personalized with over $150,000 of Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning, for a total new price of $448,535
Presented in virtually as-new condition with fewer than 77 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloguing
With so many iconic cars and significant achievements throughout the past 75 years, Porsche rightfully celebrates the company’s heritage by offering its most dedicated followers limited-production models inspired by their most beloved and sought-after historical creations. Cars like the 911 R, the several generations of Speedsters, and the original Type 997 Sport Classic have all offered modern performance with a dash of vintage panache.
The latest iteration of the Sport Classic, now based on the Type 992 platform, presents a “greatest hits” collection of the most established Porsche design features wrapped around one of the most potent and engaging drivetrains ever fitted to a 911. This limited-edition model is easily identified by the 2.7 RS-inspired duck tail spoiler and Fuchs-style wheels on all four corners. Keener observers will note the double-bubble carbon fiber roof, gold-color badging, and a Porsche shield featuring the early-style bright red element of the Württemberg crest. Twin stripes streak across the hood, roof, and tail, further alluding to the firm’s immense racing history. The interior is covered with plenty of leather, distinctive houndstooth cloth on the doors and seat inserts, and green-accented instrumentation for a 1960s atmosphere. Lastly, a badge on the dashboard notes the serial number of each Sport Classic.
Utilizing the Turbo widebody and engine platform, the Sport Classic is the most powerful rear-wheel drive 911 of this generation so far. The twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six engine produces a whopping 542 horsepower, and while mildly detuned from its four-wheel drive brethren, this reduction has allowed for the option of a manual transmission (much to the delight of enthusiasts). The chassis is additionally fitted with carbon ceramic brakes, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, rear steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and a specially tuned exhaust as standard.
On offer is serial number 0923 of the 1,250 Sport Classics offered worldwide. An immensely special machine already, this example stands above its siblings courtesy of over $150,000 worth of Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning. As shown on the CXX option sheet on file, the exterior is finished almost entirely in White, from the front-end air intakes to the wheels and around to the lower rear valance. Only matte white stripes and black wheel center locks provide contrast to this snowy exterior treatment. Alternatively, the sanguine interior features leather across most visible surfaces in a display of supreme luxury and customization. The air vents, center tunnel, knee pads, front trunk, rear side panels, lower dashboard, inner door sill guards, and even the owner’s manual wallet are all finished in Can Can Red hides. Houndstooth joins the mix on the door cards, seat inserts, and trunk pouch. The summation of this custom tailoring has resulted in a truly exquisite example of such a special Porsche.
Delivered new to the legendary White Collection, the 911 subsequently traded hands and today presents with fewer than 77 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloging. Thanks to this limited use, the car presents in virtually as-new condition and will undoubtedly be a highlight of any serious collection for decades to come.

[source: Bentley]
Crewe, UK – Bentley Motors today reveals the third coachbuilt Bentley of the modern era – the Batur Convertible. Created by Mulliner, Bentley’s in house bespoke division and the longest standing coachbuilder in the world, the Batur Convertible follows the exquisitely hand-crafted Bacalar barchetta and Batur coupe. With the Batur Convertible, Mulliner continues its long tradition of crafting truly individual cars, tailored to the wishes of each of its extraordinary clients.
The Batur Convertible furthers the innovative design DNA introduced by its coupe sibling that will ultimately guide the design of Bentley’s future cars. The Batur Convertible retains the most powerful version of Bentley’s iconic W12, with a 750 PS, hand-assembled 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine that has metaphorically and literally powered Bentley’s success for the last two decades. With the engine to finish production this summer, the Batur Convertible will be one of the last ever Bentleys to use this incredible powertrain.
Bespoke two-seat grand touring
Bentley has a rich history of open-cockpit cars, from the very first Bentley of 1919, through the company’s foundation years in the 1920s, to the most recent – the Bacalar. The architecture of the Batur Convertible has allowed Mulliner’s designers to seize the opportunity to create a theme that not only blends the design of the Bacalar and Batur but includes the usability of a convertible. The designers also chose to highlight the two-seater character with a ‘wraparound’ cockpit inspired by the design of the Bacalar.
The dramatic ‘airbridge’ behind the seats and tapered cowls at the rear hark back to the barchetta sports cars of old, whilst underlining the promise of a dynamic, driver-focused adventure in a cosseting, cocooned environment. The airbridge and tapered cowls are not only aesthetic, but also provide a semi-enclosed luggage compartment behind the two front seats.
The convertible roof delivers an aesthetic of beauty as a modern, tactile alternative to a hardtop roof. A combination of insulation material, sealing system refinements and acoustic treatments create a cossetting environment in a system which can be deployed or stowed in just 19 seconds, with the car travelling at speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h), transforming the car from a luxurious coupe into an open-top Grand Tourer at the touch of a button.
Personal and uniquely commisioned
Mulliner’s in-house design team will help co-create every Batur Convertible with its customer, working together through a specially created Mulliner visualiser that allows any part of the car to be customised in colour and surface finish. Endless samples of unique materials bring texture to the process, and the resulting designs will be truly individual and created by the customer – limited only by their imagination.
Customers will be able to specify the colour and finish of practically every surface of the Batur Convertible, to create a car as individual as they are. Beyond the exterior form of the car lies an almost endless array of choices for each car’s future owner to make.
Paint choice is infinite – starting with the full Mulliner colour palette and travelling beyond into fully bespoke paint and even hand-painted graphics. The exterior brightware can be any mix of light and dark, satin or gloss or even titanium. Another subtle option available is a graduated contrast colour to the front grille, for a vibrant ombre effect.
The Batur Convertible offers further areas to personalise with the unique Airbridge, tonneau cover and roof materials being able to be specified to complement the rest of the cabin and exterior.
In the cabin, the highly exclusive option of 3D printed rose gold includes key driver touch points, such as the Bentley Drive Mode Selector, encircling the start/stop button and used to change chassis modes. The centrepiece of an exquisite cabin, the dial complements the design of the front grille. Rose gold can also applied to Bentley’s iconic Organ Stop vent controls in the dashboard, as well as a rose gold insert marker on the steering wheel itself.
Bentley Mulliner has collaborated with expert goldsmiths based in the historic Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, England, where jewellery has been made for centuries, to craft the unique parts. This special collaboration highlights Bentley’s ability to combine new, advanced manufacturing technologies with more traditional materials and finishing techniques.
Exclusive and powerful
Each Batur Convertible will be handcrafted over the course of several months in Mulliner’s workshop at Bentley’s carbon neutral factory in Crewe, England. Production will be limited to just 16 pieces, each among the last ever Bentleys to be powered by the company’s iconic W12 engine, in its most potent iteration.
For the W12 powertrain that the Batur Convertible shares with its coupe counterpart, a revised intake system, upgraded turbochargers, new intercoolers and extensive recalibration enables 750 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, to deliver exceptional performance for this pinnacle grand tourer. This development of the engine is in celebration of its achievements over 20 years, over which time it has been developed to produce nearly 40% more power while fuel economy has improved by 25%. The W12 is paired with Bentley’s eight-speed double-clutch transmission, and a sports exhaust to provide a soundtrack in keeping with the level of performance. The entire exhaust system is in titanium, while the finishers are 3D-printed in titanium.
Batur Convertible Car #0
The engineering development car – Batur Convertible Car #0 – has had the same level of attention to detail as a customer’s own specification. The exterior paintwork is a bespoke colour – Vermillion Gloss over Vermillion Satin Duo tone – that provides a vibrant colour across the contemporary surfaces. The bodywork is underscored by front splitters, side skirts and rear diffuser in high gloss carbon fibre.
The front of the car features a grille of exceptional art – with the main matrix finished in Gloss Dark Titanium, accented with contrast chevrons in a horizontal ombré pattern that flows from Beluga in the centre and lighten to the vibrant sides in Vermillion Gloss. The “endless bonnet” line is finished in Gloss Dark Titanium paint, as are the 22” wheels – with the spokes in Gloss and Satin Black Titanium with Vermillion Gloss accents.
Unique Mercedes-Maybach S-Class inspired by the design of the legendary SPHINX 12mR yacht
Restoration of the racing yacht led to the founding of the Robbe & Berking Classics shipyard in 2008
[source: Mercedes-Benz]
Stuttgart/Flensburg. The love of unique craftsmanship, clear aesthetics and timeless elegance unites Mercedes‑Maybach and the silver and yacht manufacturers Robbe & Berking. They share the ambition to design individualised products for connoisseurs of the extraordinary. To mark the 150th anniversary of the Flensburg silver manufactory, Mercedes-Maybach has created an exclusively refined S-Class model. Its design is based on the legendary SPHINX 12mR yacht, which was built in 1939 and became known as the “night-blue beauty” in the history of sailing yachts. It was the first classic wooden yacht that Robbe & Berking restored. This gave rise to the company’s yacht shipyard, Robbe & Berking Classics, in 2008. The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 (combined energy consumption: 14.2-13.2 l/100 km | combined CO2 emissions: 323-300 g/km | CO2 class: G)[1] anniversary vehicle has the same colour scheme as the SPHINX: a two-tone paint finish consisting of nautical blue metallic in the upper section and MANUFAKTUR patagonia red bright in the lower section of the bodywork. They are separated by a filigree pinstripe in MANUFAKTUR opalite white metallic to match the yacht’s white waterline.
“Like the yacht SPHINX, our exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S-Class anniversary vehicle epitomises craftsmanship, elegance and attention to detail. We congratulate Robbe & Berking on their anniversary and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.” Daniel Lescow, Head of Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz Group AG
“This wonderful anniversary vehicle is another sign of the friendship that has long connected Maybach and Robbe & Berking. We are also united by shared passions: Craftsmanship, the finest materials and timelessly beautiful lines – on the road as well as on the water and on the table.” Oliver Berking, Managing Director of Robbe & Berking GmbH
Interior in crystal white nappa leather with orion grey topstitching and wood trim with aluminium decorative strips The interior of the one-off Mercedes-Maybach S-Class shines in Maybach MANUFAKTUR Exclusive nappa leather in crystal white with diamond quilting. The seats, headliner, door centre panels and storage compartment under the central display are upholstered in this fine material. Orion grey decorative stitching stands out against the white leather in selected areas – an analogy to a sail. Another elegant contrast is created by the exclusive wood walnut trim with light-coloured aluminium trim strips. They echo the look of a ship’s deck. The nappa leather cushions in the rear are also customised. The smooth, triangular side surface in silver grey pearl contrasts with the crystal white leather with diamond topstitching in orion grey and MAYBACH embossing. The design of the cushions is rounded off by piping in silver grey pearl nappa leather.
Other equipment highlights for ultimate comfort include electric comfort doors at the rear, MANUFAKTUR door sill trims with red illuminated MAYBACH lettering and the Burmester® high-end 4D surround sound system. Also on board are the MBUX high-end rear-seat entertainment system and a cooling compartment with two silver-plated champagne goblets from Robbe & Berking. Since 2002, the goblets from the silver manufacturer founded in 1874 have lent the Mercedes-Maybach models a special lustre. They are available on request and are becoming increasingly popular with customers. This exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has already been reserved for a customer and is therefore no longer available for sale.
Legendary SPHINX racing yacht restored according to original plans The SPHINX belongs to the famous “12 Metre R class” (12mR yacht). The large and elegant yachts in this class were built from 1907 to 1987 and, as the premier class of sailing, sailed for the America’s Cup from 1958 to 1987. They are the epitome of the classic yacht and the dream of every sailing enthusiast. However, they are significantly longer than 12 metres. The “12 Metre” designation is the result of the legendary “International Rule”, which the major sailing nations agreed on in 1906 for the construction of racing yachts.
The 21.48-metre-long SPHINX was built in 1939 by the Abeking & Rasmussen boatyard as a club ship for the North German Regatta Association (NRV) in Hamburg. She was the last of a series of ten 12-metre boats to be launched. She later changed hands several times and sailed under different names. For example, she served the German Navy under the name “Ostwind” from 1958 to 2004 as a training ship for officer candidates. Among other honours, she won the Blue Riband for the fastest yacht on the Flensburg Fjord nine times. In 2005, the passionate sailor Oliver Berking bought her together with two friends. With attention to detail and great passion, they restored the racing yacht according to the original plans. Under her original name SPHINX, they made the classic wooden yacht accessible to the sailing world again. In 2008, Oliver Berking founded the Robbe & Berking Classics yacht shipyard in Flensburg’s city harbour in order to preserve and continue to use the expertise gained. This shipyard has developed into a globally sought-after specialist for the restoration of classic sailing yachts and the construction of faithful replicas of lost classic boats.

Introducing a new hero for the original British adventure brand Defender: New Defender OCTA. The toughest, most capable and most luxurious model in the unstoppable 4×4 family, taking the capability of Defender 110 to an unparalleled level.
Powered by a 4.4‑litre Twin Turbo mild‑hybrid V8 engine, the OCTA model is the most extreme and most powerful Defender ever, with 635PS and up to 750Nm1 of torque enabling 0‑60mph in 3.8 seconds (0‑100km/h in 4.0 seconds). Heavily revised chassis components with innovative technologies, including 6D Dynamics suspension, ensure its dynamic capabilities are taken to new heights.
The exterior is bolder and tougher than ever, with a distinct character. The ride height is raised, its stance widened, and wheel arches extended for incredible presence. Redesigned bumpers give improved approach and departure angles, while tough underbody protection gives drivers the confidence to explore further over rough terrain. And, it will wade deeper than any production Defender before it too – through up to one metre of water.
New Defender OCTA’s name is derived from the toughest and most desirable mineral on earth – a diamond – and the octahedral shape that gives their distinctive appearance and durability. This shape also inspired the new signature graphic, which denotes it as the flagship Defender – strong and resilient, yet striking, rare and desirable.
Every Defender OCTA wears a new encircled diamond graphic, including a gloss black diamond within a machined and sandblasted titanium disc on each Signature Graphic panel.
The tough luxury of Defender OCTA is epitomised by Defender OCTA Edition One, which is available in the first year of production. It features a curated specification, finished in an exclusive new Faroe Green paint colour with a Khaki and Ebony UltrafabricsTM PU and seam‑less Knit interior, new Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing, and 20‑inch forged alloy wheels with a choice of all‑terrain or optional specially developed Advanced All‑Terrain Tyres.2
Unparalleled Performance
New Defender OCTA brings unheard of performance to Defender. Powered by a 635PS 4.4‑litre Twin Turbo mild‑hybrid V8 engine mated to an eight‑speed automatic transmission with high and low range gears, it is the most powerful and most extreme Defender ever. New Defender OCTA will reach up to 155mph when fitted with 22‑inch lightweight alloy wheels and all‑season tyres.
Incredible Capability and Durability
New Defender OCTA’s dynamic capabilities go beyond what any Defender has achieved before, with the introduction of hydraulically‑interlinked 6D Dynamics suspension technology for the first time on a Defender, alongside extensive hardware and geometry changes. Uniquely, it’s designed to be as fun to drive on‑road as off‑road, with no compromises.
Defender OCTA sits 28mm higher and has a stance widened by 68mm, for superior ground clearance and stability. To ensure unparalleled confidence and control on any terrain, with both maximum wheel articulation off‑road and reduced roll on‑road, revised suspension components include longer and tougher wishbones, and unique active dampers with separate accumulators. It also features uprated 400mm front brake discs with Brembo calipers and the fastest steering ratio of any Defender to date, for immediate, precise, responses.
A bespoke testing and development programme with more than 13,960 additional tests, including high‑speed off‑road durability, as well as high‑speed on‑road durability, had to be created for Defender OCTA, as the team entered realms of capability and robustness that have never been explored before.
An advanced network of hydraulically‑interlinked continuously variable semi‑active dampers virtually eliminates pitch and body roll on‑road, the 6D Dynamics system also contributing to unprecedented comfort and refinement for Defender. On rough terrain, 6D Dynamics enables greater wheel articulation and will tackle even more extreme obstacles, meaning clients can take their adventures even further and in superior comfort.
The full capabilities of New Defender OCTA – which can automatically detect which surface it is being driven on and optimise its dynamic settings accordingly – are unlocked via its enhanced drive modes. In addition to the default Comfort Mode, Dynamic Mode provides the ultimate performance‑focused on‑road experience, tuning the vehicle’s steering, throttle and suspension settings with one press of the transparent signature logo button on the steering wheel.
A long press of the same button accesses OCTA Mode, the first ever dedicated Defender off‑road driving mode with a performance focus. This has been specially developed to ensure ultimate control and driver confidence. OCTA Mode also enables an Off‑Road Launch mode for optimum acceleration on loose surfaces. And, when combined with the lowest traction control settings (TracDSC or DSC off) it also engages a unique Off‑Road ABS calibration for optimum braking performance on loose surfaces too.
For more technical off‑road manoeuvres, Defender’s suite of familiar Terrain Response modes remain at the driver’s fingertips, with specific calibrations for Sand, Mud and Ruts, Grass Gravel Snow, and Rock Crawl – assisted by off‑road driver aids such as ClearSight Ground View3, which effectively makes the bonnet transparent for improved visibility and reassurance off the beaten track.
Confident Exterior
Defender’s imposing presence and all‑terrain focus is given a bold new attitude for Defender OCTA. It features 33‑inch diameter tyres, the largest ever fitted to a production Defender, including a Goodyear Advanced All‑Terrain Tyre1 developed specifically for the OCTA model. This has required extended wheel arches, which complement off‑road‑optimised front bodywork with unique grille designs allowing greater under‑bonnet airflow, a new rear bumper incorporating a four‑exit active exhaust system, tough underbody protection including an aluminium alloy front under shield with graphite finish and exposed Phosphor Bronze‑finished front and rear recovery points.
Defender OCTA’s colour palette includes two exclusive new premium metallic finishes: Petra Copper and Faroe Green, alongside Carpathian Grey and Charente Grey, while all Defender OCTA models feature a contrast roof and tailgate in gloss Narvik Black. Clients can further personalise their vehicle with optional Matte Protective Film for added body protection in harsh environments, also adding a sophisticated appearance that showcases its distinctive silhouette and sophisticated surfacing.
Faroe Green is exclusively available on Defender OCTA Edition One, as is Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing. This highly distinctive finish, which includes recycled raw materials, features on the Defender bonnet script, fender vent surrounds and bonnet vent surrounds, plus the front seatbacks and centre console trim inside.
Engaging, Immersive Interior
Inside, curated selections set New Defender OCTA apart. Two highly durable UltrafabricsTM PU options – 30 per cent lighter than traditional leather – are available. This seat finish is standard on Defender OCTA Edition One, in duo‑tone Khaki and Ebony, with a knit textile and reductive, seamless finish.
For Defender OCTA, the standard interior is a new Burnt Sienna semi‑aniline leather, with KvadratTM textile trim in Ebony. Alternatively, any Defender OCTA can be specified with UltrafabricsTM PU in Light Cloud and Lunar, or semi‑aniline leather in Ebony.
The front row of Defender OCTA features all‑new Performance Seats with more supportive bolsters and integrated headrests. Defender’s close association with music is brought to the fore with immersive Body and Soul Seat audio technology – available for the first time in Defender.
The Body and Soul Seat has been developed in collaboration with music industry experts SUBPAC and Coventry University, allowing the driver and front passenger to feel, as well as hear, the music. Six wellness programmes are also available to help relax occupants or help improve cognitive responses on the move, depending on their preference.

Inside, the tailored spec continues to impress with primary trim in Bone, accented with Olive Green leather and velour over power seats.
To provide customers with support in developing their ideas for their own personal dream car, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has configured a 911 Turbo S as an example of Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning. The vehicle made its most recent appearance at the Fuori Concorso. In keeping with this year’s motto “British racing green”, the customised vehicle shone in the Urban Bamboo effect paint finish.

With many special features such as the extraordinary “Chromaflair”-effect paint in Urban Bamboo, painted design strips on the body, and the leather trim offset with different colours and copious cross-stitching, this model exemplifies everything that is possible with the help of the Sonderwunsch programme.
The appetiser was such as success that it sealed its own fate: the Sonderwunsch model has since been sold to an enthusiast. Guglielmo Miani, head of the Milan-based luxury brand Larusmiani, fell in love with the unique vehicle during a consultation in Zuffenhausen. The sports car could then be seen at the “Fuori Concorso 2022” at Lake Como. Established by Guglielmo Miani, this event series celebrates the most attractive aspects of automotive culture.
The inspiration for the extensively configured, Sonderwunsch model was one of the four Porsche 959s that the department that was the predecessor to the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur had built for a customer in the late 1980s. With its decades of experience, the sports car manufacturer has been one of the pioneers of factory customisation. With more than 1,000 additional options across all model lines, Porsche has more than doubled its customisation options since 2012.
Handcrafted: elaborate “Chromaflair” process
Among other features, the Sonderwunsch 911 Turbo S Coupé shares its striking paintwork with the Porsche 959. Today’s interpretation eschews polarising Dark Gold, however, in favour of a painstakingly hand-painted Urban Bamboo using the “Chromaflair” process. With this technology, a total of five coats of paint are applied. The special feature is the wafer-thin pigments in the top coat, which result in the beholder seeing different shades of colour depending on the viewing angle and light. In addition to Urban Bamboo, Porsche also offers the “Chromaflair”-effect paint in Python Green, Magic Magenta, Shifting Carbon and Explosive Gold.
As with the historic 959, a tri-colour design stripe extends from the front wings and across the doors and shoulders all the way to the rear. The line followed by the stripe was first adapted and optimised for the shape of the 911 by designer Grant Larson of Style Porsche using tape in the design phase. The painted-on stripe is applied by hand in the colours Rock Green Metallic (699), Jet Green Metallic (Z6H) and Anthracite Brown Metallic (M8S).
This theme continues in the interior: three stripes of colour also adorn the centre of the door panels. The centre panels of the front seats also form a contrast to the black leather upholstery, and are colour-blocked in Slate Grey, Agave Green and Island Green. The cross-stitching in Island Green is another eye-catcher in the interior. These elaborately hand-stitched seams can be found at the top of the dashboard, in the door panels, and in the side panels in the rear. The all-leather luggage compartment underlines the elegant character of this 911 Turbo S.
The equipment list for this Sonderwunsch model includes almost 50 items. A very special detail, however, is available free of charge for each unique item: the Sonderwunsch mark. This also indicates the year in which the respective project was completed. Inspired by the historic Manufacturer’s World Champion decals of the 1970s, the round marking is positioned in the rear side window on the driver’s side. In the 911 Turbo S showcased here, the marking is also embossed into the lid of the storage compartment on the centre console.
About Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Porsche Classic enhance and restore unique sports cars with a combination of skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. As part of its strategy, the sports car manufacturer is reinterpreting its legendary Sonderwunsch programme from the late 1970s, which will enable it to design individualised, one-off cars – co-created by the customer and professionally produced by Porsche.
This range of services encompasses the areas of Factory Commissioning for individual customer colour and material requests directly in production, as well as subsequent Factory Re-Commissioning, and Factory One-Off after vehicle delivery to the customer. Whereas Factory Re-Commissioning is all about individual colours and materials, the Factory One-Off service is a systematic new technical development. Depending on the vehicle’s age, the technical experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur or Porsche Classic take care of implementation.

The final Jaguar F‑TYPE sports car made at the brand’s manufacturing facility in Castle Bromwich will join the Jaguar Heritage collection – 50 years to the day since the last Jaguar E‑type drove off the production line.
The final F‑TYPE is a 5.0 litre V8 Convertible in Giola Green with a black roof and a Tan Windsor leather interior – similar to that of the 5.3 litre V12 final E‑type Series III Convertible built in 1974 and registered as HDU 555N.
This special F‑TYPE will be handed to the custodians of Jaguar’s history, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT). It will join its E‑type predecessor in the official Jaguar Heritage collection and take part in a series of special events and activities this year.
Both F‑TYPE and E‑type marked the end of their production on almost the same day and on the threshold of a new and exciting era. Just as the last E‑type in 1974 heralded the birth of the radical Jaguar XJ‑S, the final F‑TYPE has been produced as Jaguar readies an even bolder transformation – spearheaded by a four‑door electric GT that promises to be a copy of nothing when it is revealed in 2025.
“The singular vision of Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons, was to always be future‑facing, relevant and original. This has been the foundation of Jaguar through almost a century of evolving contemporary British luxury
“Today, as we celebrate F‑TYPE and our 75‑year history of innovative Jaguar sports cars, we are also looking forward to the beginning of a new era. We will reimagine and elevate the Jaguar brand that will be focused on growing client intimacy and engagement, underpinned by our purpose to inspire like no other.” – Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar
F‑TYPE was first launched as a convertible in 2013 and was Jaguar’s first two‑seat sports car in almost 40 years. It received universal acclaim and was named 2013 World Car Design of the Year. The coupé made its debut the following year.
87,731 F‑TYPEs have been produced and it will continue to be available until early 2025. JDHT records show that Jaguar produced 72,528 E‑types, ending with a special run of 50 cars. All but one was painted black, while the second‑to‑last car was British Racing Green and was supplied to a private Jaguar collector.
Both cars will reside in the JDHT at Gaydon alongside the last series XE, XF, and XF Sportbrake which also finished manufacture recently.
About Jaguar Jaguar will transform into an all‑electric luxury brand by 2025, with uniquely expressive vehicles defined by pioneering technologies and visionary design. A copy of nothing.
We are already on the journey to electrification, with a curated range of electric hybrid and full electric models. Today’s Jaguar range comprises the I‑PACE all‑electric performance SUV, F‑PACE performance SUV, E‑PACE compact performance SUV, XE and XF saloons, XF Sportbrake and F‑TYPE sports car.
Jaguar is designed and engineered in the UK and sold in 117 countries. It belongs to the JLR house of brands with Range Rover, Defender and Discovery.
