    Why We Love It:

The DLS formula for Singer reimaginings is a remarkable thing. Launched in 2018, it created perhaps the ultimate specification for a classic 911, complete with all-carbon bodywork and 500 horsepower 4.0-liter flat six developed by Williams Advanced Engineering. The car was both incredibly expensive and very sought-after, making for years of waiting to get one or prices in the millions if you can find one (see above).

Should you wish to skip the line, Graham Rahal can help assist with this Dark Oliver over Antique Tan example. The black-painted Fuchs-like wheels give it an extra unique appearance even amongst other DLS where exposed silver star protrusions are the typical finish applied. That’s all a very tasteful mix, though there’s a premium attached. Check out the link above for more information, photos and contact details.

When covering these creations from Singer, we usually like to keep track of the Commission or title name given to the car. We’re not seeing one on this car, nor in the listing so if you happen to know then drop us a line or share it in the comments section below.

Thanks to Kevin Baker for the tip.

  • Market Find: Dark Olive Metallic 911 Dakar at Porsche Jacksonville

Market Find: Dark Olive Metallic 911 Dakar at Porsche Jacksonville

    What: 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar
Color: Dark Olive Metallic (dunkelolive; metallic UNI; M6X / 7G; Porsche)
    VIN: WP0AB2A92RS225433
    Mileage: 1,030 miles
    Estimate: $349,990
    CarFax: Link
    Window Sticker: N/A
    Location: Porsche Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL
    Dealer listing: Link

    Why we love it:

In modern times, where we’re all a bunch of judgy Karens scrolling past click-bait graphics of celebrities whose houses mysteriously didn’t burn down in the L.A. fires, it’s hard to not be a little solemn at the idea of a MY2024 Porsche returning to the pre-owned lot with barely 1,000 miles on it. Find some grace though, because this one’s special and we’d argue the person who specced and owned it for barely 1K miles is still deserving… even if modern Porsche “used” status means a notable markup.

We’re going to make some assumptions here, but consider them educated guesses. We’re guessing your common quick flipper wouldn’t build a car like this. Okay, maybe a PTS allotment for the teacher’s pet client at Porsche Anywhere isn’t that rare, but subtle Dark Olive Metallic straight up and sans stickers or nostalgic livery nods isn’t your typical spec and flip behavior. Nor is fitting a set of custom fuchs-inspired Rotiform rally wheels finished in a muted and tasteful gold and then leaving them on for the trade in order to go to the new customer. We’re going to hat tip the builder of this car, for living his or her best life, building a tasteful thing and actually logging **some** miles before passing it on and likely taking delivery of some other brilliant specification we’ll be featuring here in six months.

    Why we love it:

The myriad shades of Green seem to be in vogue, yet Porsche’s Paint to Sample Black Olive isn’t one we see often. Perhaps it’s the deeper, more subdued nature of Dark Olive which drives folks to order Nato Olive or Smyrna Green instead, but in our eyes- that’s their loss. This particular Tailored Driver is the right blend of exclusivity, must-have options, and if-you-know-you-know cred that clearly sets it apart in the age of lottery ticket Porsche allocation. Put simply, someone will be incredibly fortunate to put this GT4 RS in their driveway.
