In Italian “countach” is an expression like “goodness” or “oh my God.” Sounds about right. Car-aware kids of the 1980s likely exclaimed it when they first encountered one, maybe in the pages of Road & Track or maybe in that opening scene of Cannonball Run. No doubt they headed on down to the local mall and picked up a Choices poster at Spencer Gifts, hung it on their bedroom wall and stared longingly at it for years to come. Now, they’re adults and they all dream of the same Countach fantasy. And, if they’re appropriately funded, they add one to the garage. If you’re that kid, you should check out this ’87 Countach 5000 QV set to cross the Broad Arrow block at The Amelia in a few weeks.
And while monochromatic “cocaine white” on white will get you Wolf of Wall Street cred, or black on gold will get you reliving the Cannonball Run, we’d argue a Giallo Fly (Fly Yellow) on brown leather brings back 80s vibes with just as much authenticity.
This one’s a desirable setup, a later Quattrovalvole 48-valve version of the V12 with “round belly” design, yet predating all the plastic cheese gratery of the final 50th anniversary models. This car is one of just 66 fuel-injected U.S. market cars ever produced. It is well preserved and unmodified, and has spent much of its life in California and Florida. It’s also had mechanical refurbishment done recently in 2024.

Why we love it:
Lamborghini’s Ad Personam Verde Draco Metallic was most famously used on Lamborghini’s Murcelago press car that was thrashed on Top Gear, and second most famously on VinWiki founder and Cannonballer Ed Bolian’s resprayed high-mile LP640. But even with that relatively high level of notoriety and our opinion that it’s absolutely stunning, take rate on the vibrant albeit muted green is exceedingly low. We’re happy to see that at least one Tailor opted for Verde Draco Metallic on their Performante, and even more intrigued that this example features a VF Supercharger, methanol injection, auxiliary gauges, and OMP racing harnesses We’ll let you make of that what you will, and just let the pictures of this Tailored Driver do the talking.
Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy – The year 2024 comes to a close following important work by Lamborghini Polo Storico: it was a year full of activities and awards won in the most prestigious international concours d’elegance that further cemented its role as the point of reference for Lamborghini collectors globally. In 2025 Polo Storico will celebrate its tenth anniversary, a significant milestone that attests to this department’s continuous evolution.
“2024 has been a year both challenging and richly gratifying for our entire team,” said Alessandro Farmeschi, After Sales Director of Automobili Lamborghini. “Not only have we achieved excellent results commercially in terms of certifications and restorations, but we have also shared and enhanced the history of the brand and our cars with customers and enthusiasts all over the world.”
In February, Polo Storico participated in The ICE event held in Saint Moritz, where it showcased two iconic models from the Lamborghini Museum on the frozen lake: a 1973 Jarama S and a 1968 400 GT 2+2, both equipped with the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine.
In March, on the 60th anniversary of the 350 GT, Lamborghini’s first production car was taken to Geneva to commemorate the model’s debut at the 1964 Motor Show.
In May, the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza hosted four classic Lamborghinis. These included a 1967 Miura P400 and a 1976 Countach LP 400, which was awarded by the jury with the Il Canto del Motore prize for the best sound. Also on display were a 1990 Countach 25th Anniversary, certified by Polo Storico, and a 1999 Diablo GT, currently undergoing analysis to obtain certification, which won the BMW Group Ragazzi trophy at Villa Erba, an award that confirms the growing attention of collectors to the youngtimer models. Also in May, Polo Storico participated in the Lamborghini Day UK event, where it showcased a Diablo SV and a Countach LP400, the first version of the iconic Lamborghini that in 2024 celebrated its 50th anniversary since going into production.
September marked some special moments linked to the Countach’s 50th anniversary. At the Chantilly Arts & Élégance Richard Mille, held in September in France, the Countach was the star of a dedicated class, with the presence of the very first production car built (chassis number 001). This historical example also returned to the original production line, the same place where the Lamborghini Revuelto is currently being produced, for a photo shoot that established a dialog between the past and present of the Lamborghini V12.
In October, at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca show in Bologna, Polo Storico displayed the body of a 1968 Miura S currently undergoing restoration and a 1994 Diablo SE in the process of certification. Finally, during the month of November, Polo Storico supported Lamborghini Day Germany with the presence of three classic Lamborghinis on display, all certified by Polo Storico: this was followed by Lamborghini Day Japan, an event enlivened by a parade of 131 cars, including 30 classic models supported by Polo Storico, representing the brand’s heritage through the streets of Tokyo. Being involved so extensively in these prestigious events during 2024, further strengthened the international ambassadorial role of Polo Storico on behalf of Lamborghini.
Continuing its steady growth, Lamborghini Polo Storico will mark its tenth anniversary in 2025. This important milestone is an opportunity for the Polo to celebrate its evolution and activities by participating in international and company events, along with concours d’elegance around the world, consolidating its central role in the preservation and enhancement of the brand’s history.
Unique design highlights endless possibilities of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program for first Urus SE delivered globally
[source: Lamborghini]
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Miami, FL December 5, 2024 – Automobili Lamborghini proudly unveiled a special Ad Personam Urus SE[1] at a private event in Miami Beach yesterday evening, inspired by Miami’s vibrant, colorful culture. The livery of this sporty Urus SE has been elevated thanks to the artistic vision of the Lamborghini design center, Centro Stile, and the direction of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization team. The Urus SE, launched earlier this year in Beijing, is the brand’s first PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version of the best-selling Super SUV boasting an 800 CV hybrid powertrain.
The dramatic details of the Miami-inspired Urus SE, that required an additional 230 hours of painting and testing over the normal industrial process, showcase the nearly endless range of Ad Personam customization options available for customers to enhance their vehicle’s extraordinary individuality.
“With this authentic piece of art, we have created the most sophisticated livery ever seen on the Urus, to inspire our customers with graphics that underline the outstanding proportions and the iconic design of the car. We have reproduced our perfect vision of the vibrant Miami lifestyle and its diversity,” said Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini.
The unique exterior of this Urus SE was brought to life with striking highlights of Blu Glauco (bluglauco; non-metallic UNI; 0098; Lamborghini), contrasted by a combination of greys and black, to create a livery that pays an homage to the city’s mix of culture, style and artistic flair. The front lip in Nero Noctis (neronoctis; metallic UNI; A2A2/LY9B; Lamborghini) is accented by a bright Blu Glauco detail. Bicolor mirror caps in Grigio Telesto (grigiotelestometallic; metallic UNI; Z69; Lamborghini) with a Blue Glauco pinstripe add a touch of elegance while the rear diffuser in Nero Noctis is precisely detailed with matching Blu Glauco highlights. The Urus SE’s luxurious interior features unicolor leather upholstery as well as dedicated kick plates and a dashboard that commemorates the occasion with “MIAMI” detailed on the polished carbon fiber.
In attendance for the exclusive unveiling in Miami Beach were executives including Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann; joined by Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Federico Foschini; Design Director Mitja Borkert; Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr; and Automobili Lamborghini America Chief Executive Officer, Andrea Baldi.
“We are always excited to bring true innovation and artistry to Miami, especially during this moment when the city is filled with inspiring creatives, designers and artists,” remarked Winkelmann. “With demand for Lamborghini vehicles at an all-time high, I am very proud of this special Urus SE which highlights the infinite customization possibilities of our Ad Personam program.”
Guests who attended the event also had the chance to view the new Lamborghini Temerario[2] with a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that redefines performance, driving pleasure and comfort. The successor to the legendary Huracán[3], the Temerario has a total power output of 920 CV and can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.7 seconds.
The celebration in Miami comes just as Automobili Lamborghini announced record breaking results for the first three quarters of 2024, following the introduction of three new models in just 18 months. Global vehicle deliveries are up 8.6% in 2024 at 8,411, compared to the same nine-month period in 2023. The Lamborghini model range has reached the milestone of becoming fully hybridized, providing a strong foundation upon which to usher in the future of the brand.
Automobili Lamborghini is committed to pursuing the positive projections for 2025, leveraging the growth momentum achieved in 2024. This vision is driven by the goals of the company and supported by continuous investments, focused on enhancing the products and ensuring sustained improvement.

It’s not a controversial statement to say that when it comes to Lamborghini, buyers generally go for attention-getting hues that are only overshadowed by their exhaust note more often than not. But in more recent times, it seems this has shifted somewhat from exterior colors like Orange, Green and Purple to a focus on Whites, Greys, and the more understated. The same can not be said for interiors.
Taking a bit of inspiration from their rivals in Woking, Lamborghini owners are now prioritizing the cabin as their place to be aggressive. To us it simply makes sense, blend in a bit better but still stand out. We’d make a comment about interiors being where you spend most of your time, but in this category of car it’s often not the case. Still, it provides an effective way of creating a one-of-one to buyers with equal parts cash and creativity.
This particular 2022 Lamborghini Huracan EVO is finished in Bianco Monocerus with Ad Personam Celeste Phoebe Blue leather (VIN: ZHWUT5ZF6NLA20993) appointed throughout. Found on offer at Lamborghini Newport Beach, the car has covered a fairly impressive 6,558 miles since new, with the CarFax stating all of it happened in just one year. Kudos to you, former owner.

They say that generational wealth lasts just two generations 70% of the time, and if you’re able to beat that, 90% of the time by generation three the last dollar will be gone. So by that metric, coughing up $729,900 for this Tailored Driver could be considered an incredibly exciting way to save your descendants from falling victim to that unfortunate statistic.
Found on offer at Ilusso in Costa Mesa, California, this Ad Personam Marrone Eklipsis Lamborghini LP 750-4 SV (VIN: ZHWUT3ZDXHLA05856) is quite simply a poster car that will look right at home on the walls of your children and grandkids. A far cry from the bright oranges and greens that are quintessentially Lamborghini, Marrone Eklipsis (Latin for Brown Eclipse) is a sure fire way to stand out from all those other Aventadors at your local haunt.

CARMEL, CA – Eccentrica, a San Marino-based restomod manufacturer, globally unveiled its fully drivable Eccentrica V12, a modern interpretation of the legendary Lamborghini Diablo, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The limited-production vehicle combines the Diablo’s classic aesthetics with cutting-edge technology and showcases for the first time a powerful new 60-degree naturally aspirated V12 engine.
Under the hood, the Eccentrica V12 houses a 5.7-liter V12 engine derived from the early ’90s first generation Diablos, producing an impressive 550 HP and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a new custom-made 6-speed transmission, offering updated gear ratios and a new power steering system for optimal performance, a feature that was absent in the first series Diablo (1991-1994). New camshafts, electronic throttle body, and an optimized flywheel elevate Eccentrica’s prowess, achieving an impressive 55 horsepower, with a more progressive delivery over the original engine and a sizeable 10kph increase in maximum speed over the already lightning-fast Diablo to reach an estimated top speed of 335kph (208mph).
Emanuel Colombini, founder and president of Eccentrica, expressed his enthusiasm for the project saying, “The Eccentrica V12 is a personal passion project, born from my lifelong admiration for the Lamborghini Diablo. While I have such admiration for the original design, I wanted to enhance the driving experience. What you see here today is the result of our engineering team going to work to deliver a car that transcends the boundaries of what has previously been achievable in technology and performance. It’s a completely modern hypercar with the heart and soul of a ‘90s classic.”
Further technical improvements include the reinforcement of the chassis components using composite materials and a double-wishbone suspension, upgraded with active dampers by TracTive. This advanced setup enables three different settings and incorporates a front axle lift system, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride for drivers. The vehicle is also equipped with an entire new exhaust system developed by Capristo for a thrilling experience.
In terms of braking capabilities, the Eccentrica V12 is equipped with an innovative BREMBO braking system, featuring the brand’s first-ever matte-painted calipers. This advanced technology provides superior braking performance, guaranteeing optimal safety on the road. In addition, the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires assure improved road-holding, which means more grip, security and higher speeds while the new custom-made 19-inch rims, forged from aluminum alloy, are lighter and larger, providing a firmer driving experience.
The interior of the Eccentrica V12 strikes a balance between classic design and modern innovation. Maintaining the Diablo’s retro-futuristic aesthetic, the cockpit seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technology into the steering wheel, dashboard instruments, a new digital infotainment system and rear camera located on the rearview mirror and control surfaces, offering drivers an immersive and state-of the-art driving experience.
Adding to the overall sensory experience, the Eccentrica V12 is fitted with a fully customized Marantz audio system. Meticulously designed with high-quality materials, speaker positions, and components, this exceptional sound system complements the driving experience, transforming every journey into a memorable and sensory-rich experience.
Only 19 models will be produced, each highly customizable to the owner’s specifications, guaranteeing exclusivity and uniqueness, with first deliveries beginning in the summer of 2025.
The unveil at The Quail comes on the heels of the company’s recent appointment of industry visionary Maurizio Reggiani as an advisor to Eccentrica. With experience attained over decades with Maserati, Bugatti, and as former CTO and Vice President of Motorsport at Lamborghini, Reggiani will provide strategic and technical guidance, foster innovation, and offer expert insights during the production phase of the Eccentrica.

Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica Sculpted by Sardinian Seascapes: 475 hours of hand-painting craftmanship
Unique Ad Personam creation sparkles with sea-inspired creativity and innovation
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Cala Di Volpe, Italy – Lamborghini presents an Opera Unica: a sole Revuelto[1] created by the Ad Personam personalization department along with Lamborghini Centro Stile, honoring the distinctive blues and seascapes of the Italian island of Sardinia. Unveiled at an exclusive dinner in the luxury resort of Cala di Volpe adorned in blue tones for the occasion, in the heart of one of the most famous and high-end holiday destinations in Italy.
“A unique Lamborghini Opera Unica car celebrates the innovation, creativity and inherent art found within our super sports cars, which is at the heart of our brand,” says Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO. “Our clients can explore colorways, detailing, different materials, embroidery and finishes inside and out with Ad Personam to produce a Lamborghini that is truly personalized to them: this Opera Unica takes our creativity a step further, demonstrating paint techniques and interior finishes that are reserved for Opera Unica one-offs, presenting a truly unique art-piece reflecting the distinctive seascape and emotions of Italy’s most beautiful island destination.”
In addition to the standard production time of a Lamborghini Revuelto, the exterior paint effects commanded an additional 475 hours of specialist craftmanship. The Opera Unica creation was realized by meticulously masking the car’s body to create a canvas for the paint: localized two-tone and three-tone paint fading was then enhanced by brush painting, reminding of waves hitting the cliffs. Special coating techniques were used, to personalize details such as the Start/Stop button cover and the nominal plate. The interior embroidery finish required 85 hours alone to produce the new tool required for the watery stitching effect dedicated to this Opera Unica.
The unique Revuelto employs Lamborghini Ad Personam’s specially developed paint techniques, showing off the intriguing angles and lines of the car like modern architecture. Three separate shades of blue are combined using Lamborghini’s craftmanship in utilizing brush and spatula to create special effects, reserved for this Opera Unica. Inspired by the crystalline seas of Sardinia, bubbles of water, waves and the deep blue of watery caves, the darker and lighter shades of blue are used across the various surfaces of the Revuelto, with clean definitions between different hues accenting the intriguing planes and lines of the car. The light Blu Tawaret features as the base color on the front panels of the car and roof, contrasting with the brighter Blu Cepheus used to create a fading effect, and on rear panels. Blu Okeanos is combined as the third blue to create an even deeper fading effect on bonnet and around the front splitter, set off by black Nera Bocca paint, shiny carbon splitter and sill, and Shiny Black with Diamond Polished Altanero rims with black Carbon Ceramic Brakes. The ‘dragged’ brush and spatula paint effect carries waves of the three blues across the rear from the front to sides and the rear, evoking the sparkling turquoise blues found in the refracted light of sea over sand and stones.
The complementary interior features Blu Delphinus as the main upholstery color, set off by lighter Blu Amon on seatbacks, on doors and trimming the center console, with contrasting white Bianco Leda stitching and piping. The seats, door panels, tunnel and roofline introduce a novelty to Revuelto embroidery application: using a specifically-developed tool, the three-tone stitching in Blu Amon, Blu Chepeus and Bianco Leda, that recalls the sparkling hues of the Sardinian waters. This effect is echoed on the Blu Mira carbon Opera Unica plate on the rear wall of the cabin, and on the Start/Stop button cover on the center console.
Revuelto is the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that has made its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time. The super sports car combines these attributes to deliver performance figures at the peak of its segment: acceleration from 0-100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 350 km/h. These numbers combine with its exceptional dynamism thanks to the introduction of electric torque vectoring, and four-wheel drive available also in fully-electric drive mode, ensuring the Revuelto super sports car expresses its amplified qualities both on track and in daily driving.
[1] Consumption and emission values of Revuelto; Fuel consumption combined: 10,3 l/100km (WLTP); Power consumption combined: 78,1 kWh/100 Km (WLTP); CO2-emissions combined: 276 g/km (WLTP)

Inside, the main stars are two of the most recent super sports cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese: Revuelto the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in and the “two hearted” Urus SE[3]. The new Lamborghini Revuelto, showcased in Ad Personam Grigio Artis (grey) color featuring Nero Ade and Rosso Andra (red) contrast interiors, is the marque’s first V12 super sports plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) and represents a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. The recently presented in Beijing, Urus SE, the first Plug-in Hybrid Super SUV, featuring new design, on-board technology and a V8 twin turbo engine that together with the electric powertrain offers a luxurious and high-performance SUV experience with 800 CV. The Super SUV is showcased in Arancio Egon (orange) launch color in combination with Arancio Apodis (orange) interiors.

The experience for the guests continues exploring – dedicated areas to Accessori Originali – the Lamborghini dedicated program to After Sales accessories specific for each Lamborghini model with Akrapovic racing exhausts for Urus S.
A key area of the Lounge Porto Cervo is the seasonal Ad Personam Studio: the dedicated area where even the most demanding Lamborghini customers can release their creativity to configure the super sports car of their dreams. In a vast assortment of samples, a plentitude of exterior colors, interior upholsteries, finishes, and details available at Lamborghini can be selected in the virtual configurator with a Lamborghini product specialist. The brand’s main Ad Personam Studio, located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, showcases more than 400 colors in its portfolio, offering customers infinite possibilities to express their personality in their new super sports cars.
Urus SE The lastly presented and the first hybrid plug-in version of the Lamborghini Super SUV, opens a new chapter in the history of the marque. The SE features a new design, optimized aerodynamics, unprecedented on-board technology and an 800 CV hybrid powertrain, the PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version moves on Urus S in terms of comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions and driving pleasure. Thanks to its “two hearts”, thermal and electric, the torque and power values are the highest ever, giving the SE a unique place in its category and boasting an 80% reduction in emissions.
The twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine has been re-engineered to work in optimal synergy with the electric powertrain of the SSUV. The Internal Combustion Engine develops 620 CV of power (456 kW) and 800 Nm of driving torque; the combustion unit is combined with an electric powertrain delivering 192 CV (141 kW) and 483 Nm of torque. In delivering maximum output the main focus has been on the calibration strategy between ICE and e-motor, reaching a total output of 800 CV to ensure an optimal power curve in every driving mode and on every surface. A 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery is situated below the load floor and above the electronically controlled rear differential.
The design of Urus SE highlights the dynamics of the form, accentuating the vehicle’s sportiness and muscularity. The front section features a new hood with a floating design, where the absence of the cut-off line gives a sense of continuity and amplifies the athletic style of the Urus SE, recalling certain new styling concepts introduced by the Revuelto. Other new elements include the headlight clusters that feature matrix LED technology, introducing a brand-new light signature inspired by the tail of the Lamborghini brand’s bull, along with a redesigned bumper and front grill.
Unique in its category, the Urus SE offers greater torque and power at any rpm or driving condition thanks also to “tamburo”. The system develops a total power output of 800 CV (588 kW) at 6000 rpm and a total torque of 950 Nm already available at 1750 rpm and up to 5750 rpm, ensuring best-in-class performance from every angle. This is also thanks to a further enhanced weight-to-power ratio: 3.13 kg/CV (compared to 3.3 in the Urus S). The Urus SE sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds (Urus S: 3.5) and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.2 seconds (Urus S: 12.5), reaching a top speed of 312 km/h (Urus S: 305 km/h). These figures make the SE the most powerful Urus ever and the fastest production car in the segment, setting a new benchmark in the Super SUV category.
Revuelto The Lamborghini Revuelto is the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design, maximum-efficiency aerodynamics, and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time.
The powertrain combines high specific power elements: the new 128 CV/liter combustion engine works synergistically with two front axial flux motors that deliver an outstanding weight-to-power ratio, with a radial flux electric motor positioned above the first eight-speed double-clutch gearbox debuting on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion high specific power (4500 W/kg) battery pack that also supports a fully electric drive mode.
Carbon fiber, produced via artisan craftsmanship in the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory, is the principal structural element within the supercar, used not only in the monofuselage and frame but also in all elements of the bodywork apart from the doors and bumpers. The extensive use of carbon fiber and lightweight materials, combined with the potent engine power, contributes to achieving the best weight-to-power ratio in the history of Lamborghini: 1.75 kg/CV.
Revuelto combines the performance attributes with outstanding new aerodynamic design to deliver performance figures at the peak of its segment: acceleration from 0-100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds; 0-200 km/h in less than seven seconds; and a top speed of more than 350 km/h. These numbers fit with its exceptional dynamism thanks to the introduction of electric torque vectoring and four-wheel drive available also in fully electric drive mode, ensuring the Revuelto super sports car expresses its amplified qualities both on track and in daily driving.
