What: 2021 BMW M5 Competition Color: BMW Individual Isle of Man Green (Isle of Man grün; metallic UNI; C4G; BMW) VIN: WBS83CH04MCH14603 Mileage: 35,960 Price at Time of this Writing: $82,991 CarFax: Link Window Sticker: Pictured below Location: Houston, TX Dealer listing:Link
Why we love it:
Configure just about anything in BMW’s current lineup in BMW Individual Isle of Man Green over Tartufo Full Merino leather and we’re in. This M5 is a simply incredible spec, no edits needed- so with that in mind, we’ll just let the pictures do the talking. If you’re in the market for a Tailored Driver and an M5 is in your list of contenders, we suggest you get to Houston as quickly as possible, checkbook in hand.
What: 2021 BMW M5 Color: BMW Individual Oxford Green Metallic (430; BMW) VIN: WBS83CH04MCH08798 Mileage: 45,641 Price at Time of this Writing: $79,990 CarFax: N/A Window Sticker: N/A Location: Denver, CO Dealer listing:Link
Why we love it:
If you really want to make us swoon, order your Tailored Driver in some variant of Green, and get the small wheels. This particular M5 follows that ethos- BMW Individual Oxford Green, small wheels, and two-tone seats in Black with Brown(ish) centers. The color, featured on a number of late 90s/early 2000s BMW vehicles, is perhaps best known for it’s use on the E39 M5, which sets the benchmark in many ways for sport sedans to this day. For those who want a stealthy performer that’s sure to turn heads, look no further.
What: 2021 Audi RS 7 Color: Audi exclusive Sonoma Green (LX6R; Audi) VIN: WUAPCBF23MN905175 Mileage: 27,091 Price at Time of this Writing: $89,890 CarFax:Link Window Sticker: N/A Location: Sterling, VA Dealer listing:Link
Why we love it:
Sonoma Green came seemingly out of nowhere when it was introduced for the B9 generation RS 5, and it made a big impact amongst enthusiasts, but due to a number of factors, the big brother RS 7 never was offered in the dynamic shade of Green. Thankfully Audi exclusive and at least one discerning Tailor was able to right this wrong. In this application, Sonoma simply looks incredible while not being overly flashy or appearing out of place. If you’re in the market, we highly suggest picking this up.
What: 2021 Aston Martin V12 Speedster Color: Aston Martin Racing Green (racinggreenmetallic; metallic UNI; AST1140; Aston Martin) VIN: SCFWMLAV5MGS90079 Mileage: 46 km Price at Time of this Writing: Estimated €780,000 – €1,080,000 EUR CarFax: N/A MonroneyLabels.com Window Sticker: N/A Location: RM Sotheby’s Münich Sale, 2024 Dealer listing: RM Sotheby’s
Why we love it:
Whether or not you’re in the income bracket that can choose to buy an Aston Martin with no top nor windshield, or have the means to enjoy it in whatever capacity one would, we still find cars like this “barchetta” style 2021 V12 Speedster to be fascinating. Aston Martin only built 88 examples of this open cockpit two-seater as tribute to the DBR1 that won the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans, and they rarely come on the market. So, it’s notable when this single family owned example with just 46 kilometers on the odometer hits the market, as this one will very soon from now as part of RM Sotheby’s Münich sale.
This particular car represents Aston Martin’s racing pedigree well, finished as it is in Aston Martin Racing Green, then accented with Clubsport White roundels (a.k.a. meatballs). Inside, its Conker saddle leather is finished in Virdian Green and Caithness leather accents. It also comes with its books and a pair of Aston Martin Racing Green helmets.
Always nice to find something a bit off-menu at daily special pricing isn’t it? Currently on offer at West Chester, Pennsylvania’s Sky Motor Cars, this Audi exclusive Corsa Red SQ5 (VIN: WA1B4AFY7M2055565) has covered just over 11,000 miles since new, yet is priced similarly to your run of the mill Grey, Black and White versions. With an asking price of $44,980, this might just be the Tailored Driver you’ve been looking for.
The combination of Corsa Red with Black Optic package is no doubt a stunner, although our more heavy footed fans may need to exercise some restraint. The bright shade could also prove to be a VIP invite to meet and greet your local traffic patrol. Moving past the exterior hue, this SQ5 is all business on the inside with Black leather and deviated white stitching throughout. We wouldn’t kick it out of bed.
It’s not all rosy, however- this SQ5 does have a minor on the CarFax. If that’s a deal breaker, no sweat. But we do think this one might be worth looking the other way. Get all the details about this Tailored Driver, here.
For those in the know, Audi’s SQ8 is in many ways the most ‘base’ variant of the Lamborghini Urus, and at a fraction of the price. Painting with an incredibly broad brush here, the SQ8 has an incredibly similar four liter twin-turbo V8, the same platform architecture underpinning it, and minus the badging, an incredibly similar interior. Sure, it’s got a bit less boost and is understandably not quite as rapid, but what do you expect for a third of the cost?
This particular Audi SQ8 (VIN: WA1AWBF12PD025557) finished in Audi exclusive Merlin Purple (merlin purple; pearl effect; 4B / LZ3W / Z3W; Audi) is currently on offer by our friends at Audi Wilmington in Delaware with just 4,450 miles on the clock. This is particularly interesting because its CarFax claims two owners- the first in Selma, Texas, and the second in Florida before making its way to the First State. Sure this could be in error, but we mention it for the following reason- assuming this SQ8 was driven to each destination mentioned on the CarFax with zero detours, that would total 2,519 miles. That’s 56% of total miles covered since new, simply spent moving to new homes or service appointments. Wild.
Non-relevant statistics aside, this is a hell of a lot of car for the asking price of $87,270. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring it home and pile on miles for enjoyment rather than necessity.

HERNDON, VA – To celebrate a decade of success with the storied V10 engine, Audi of America announces the limited edition R8 V10 quattro models in Mugello Blue, Avus Silver, and Sonoma Green. Bidding farewell to the R8 V10 quattro, these 30 units bring technologies and features previously reserved for the performance model, and add unique interior and exterior design elements. The R8 V10 performance quattro model will continue on for the 2021 model year.
Powertrain and performance
Featuring the same naturally aspirated V10 engine found in the R8 LMS racecar, quattro® all-wheel drive, and a functional yet technologically advanced cabin, the R8 is the pinnacle of performance for Audi, with no other model bearing a closer tie to racing. With a seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch transmission, which can shift gears in as little as 120 ms, the R8 V10 quattro achieves 562 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, and reaches 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top track speed of 201 mph for the Coupe, or 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top track speed of 200 mph for the Spyder.
Previously only available for the R8 performance variants, the limited editions features a carbon fiber front sway bar, which saves 2 kg (4.4 lb) of weight. Audi magnetic ride adjusts the firmness of the dampers and included Audi dynamic steering offers a variable steering ratio that adjusts based on vehicle speed and the Audi drive select setting. At higher driving speeds, a less direct steering ratio helps to facilitate a more stable drive, and at lower driving speeds, a more direct steering ratio is utilized to help increase steering response for easier maneuvering.
The sport exhaust system, also previously only available on the R8 performance variants, amplifies the full bodied sound of the V10 engine, which the driver can adjust using the dedicated satellite button on the steering wheel or via the Audi drive select setting.
Unique design cues
With the Audi exclusive paint options and alu-optic mirror caps, the R8 makes its distinctive character clear. The lower trim, engine compartment, and side blades are all finished in carbon fiber and the brake calipers are painted red for an even sharper look.
Coupe variants will be offered in the following Audi exclusive paint colors: 15 Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior, five Avus Silver with black interior and red stitching, and five Sonoma Green with black interior and gray stitching. Five Spyders will be offered solely in Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior. All variants include Audi exclusive floor mats, with piping and stitching color-matched to the interior. The 20-inch milled wheels are finished in silver for the first time on an R8 in the U.S.
Sporty race features continue inside, where the driver-oriented interior features a three-spoke multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles and four steering wheel-mounted satellite buttons – engine Start/Stop, Audi drive select, Performance Mode selector and Sport exhaust. As with all R8 variants, the Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI navigation plus come standard. For even further definition, the included carbon interior adds carbon fiber high-gloss surrounds for both the virtual cockpit and the air vents and carbon sigma high-gloss inlays. Coupe models also feature a diamond stitched Alcantara® headliner.
With uncompromised performance and unmistakable design, the R8 model line has represented the pinnacle of Audi performance since its introduction in 2008, and the R8 V10 quattro is no exception.
The limited edition R8 V10 quattro is scheduled go on sale this summer with an MSRP of $186,000 for the Coupe and $195,900 for the Spyder.
