    Why We Love It:

We are always, and I mean always, fans of dealer salespeople getting the jump on tailored builds by posting them to enthusiasts on social media. We’ve seen it happen all the time, an enthusiast at the dealership knows what they have, grabs their own photos (see them in this story) and shares them online (see it on Audi Club North America’s Classifieds Facebook Group HERE) as Danny Alves just did.

The car in question is a very tasteful spec, 2025 Audi RS 7 Sportback performance with Audi exclusive Goodwood Green Pearl Effect paint. Inside, it’s also got Iguana Green interior stitching to round out the look. Other options include Matte Carbon Package, Executive Package and Driver Assistance Package. We’re going to give bonus points to whomever built it for going with more subtle black brake calipers over red that bestow just a bit too much of a yuletide vibe on a Goodwood Green Audi.

Thanks again to Danny Alves for sharing it with his own photos before the dealership has them live on their site. If you call Audi Freehold to inquire, check in with him since he was kind enough to share these photos. Email him at dalves@audifreehold.com or call him at 732 347 5371.

    Why we love it:

Our friend Sam Brandes from Audi Wilmington told us recently that he’s seeing a renaissance for the C7 RS 7 Sportback. According to Sam, he’s moved several over the last few weeks and he’s buying any good examples he can find for his dealership’s inventory in order to satiate this market desire. In the vein of C7 RS 7s then, we’re not sure there are many specs that are more desirable than an RS 7 performance painted Audi exclusive Nogaro Blue. Bonus points for low mileage and condition.

In the case of this RS 7 that’s just entered inventory at Audi Naples, there’s a premium for the low mileage of 22,900. From our perspective, that’s either collector grade miles or it’s about as new as you’re going to find in this market should you be a Zuckerman and want to buy the ultimate vintage example then drive it because that’s what one does with great cars.

Other notable equipment includes a sport exhaust from the factory by Akrapović. At the time, Audi had invested in the Slovenian manufacturer of titanium exhaust systems, and Akrapović was developing race exhausts for the RS 5 DTM and R18 e-tron quattro LMP1 Le Mans racer. The tie-in offered the ultimate credibility to the purveyor of ultimate titanium exhausts. In period, Audi did offer S6 and S7 exhausts from the dealer and built to Audi spec, though the exhaust on this car is believed to be an Akrapović exhaust sold via their own Akrapović retailers.

If you’re seeking the ultimate specification C7 RS 7, we’re not sure you can do better than this one. Yes, you’ll find them cheaper, but we doubt you’ll find one this nice.

  • Color Check: Goodwood Green with Gold RS 7 from Audi Thailand

Color Check: Goodwood Green with Gold RS 7 from Audi Thailand

The photos you see here are from just a casual daily social media post made by Audi Thailand, but they represent such a great spec that we simply had to share. The car in question is a new Audi RS 7 performance painted Audi exclusive Goodwood Green (goodwoodgrün; pearl effect UNI; Z6X; Audi).

Though not currently offered as a standard color on the RS 7 or most of the Audi range, at least in North America, Goodwood as a long appreciated Audi color makes it a popular choice in the world of Audi exclusive tailored builds.

In a way, it’s probably Audi’s closest take on traditional British Racing Green, so is it any wonder that it looks great with gold wheels, which came back into the fore in recent years at brands such as Porsche. Over at Audi, they’ve got a gold finish of their own for wheels “Neodym Gold Matt” that’s a satin muted take which seems to harken early ur quattro era gold wheels without being gaudy.

And as cool as Neodym wheels are at Audi, Audi of America hasn’t really made much use of them. The finish was offered briefly on RS 5 models, and its use on the C8 RS 6 and RS 7 was only on a limited production special edition. If you want them, you likely need to source them from Europe in some creative fashion as they are still offered as a stand alone specification like we see here on this RS 7 performance.

So back to this car posted by Audi Thailand. Borderline British Racing Green with gold wheels is an iconic and always stylish look, so there was no question this combination would look stunning on a car like the RS 7 performance. Thanks to Audi Thailand for sharing it. We did try to embed the post here, but it appears permissions are prohibiting that. If you’d like to check it out and like it yourself, you can find it HERE.
